My son has an Ego two stage snow blower. We live near Detroit and get about fifty inches of snow a winter; usually in 2-4 inch dumps but occasionally as much as 10-12. He has a fairly long drive because he has an end opening garage and a narrow circular drive as well. The snow blower easily cleans the entire drive in under an hour and on a single charge; even when he had eight inches in a single snow. Base on this, he bought an Ego lawn mower and is just starting his first season.

That sounds impressive! I am near Toronto, so similar weather. I had a feeling it was going to be good, I had only read a few reviews from Home Depot, but I couldn't tell if it was sponsored. Thanks for letting me know!

I have an Ego self propelled mower. Date on battery Sept 2016. I am starting my 7th season of cutting my lawn with the same battery and mower. It takes 40 mins to cut my lawn on a single charge. It is still running strong. I am wondering when the battery is going to give out. In all fairness I did run the battery down to Zero once or twice. I am thinking that when the battery does fail that I would buy a new Ego mower with a new battery. A replacement battery is about 2/3 of the price of a total replacement.

that's amazing! I am wondering the same thing with these batteries. The performance and reliability is great. If your already in your 7th year, then I am hoping to get similar results. Thanks for the feedback.
