Hi there! You mentioned an issue with the throttle so I thought I’d comment. When I bought my Cruiser S last year, it came with a new thumb throttle, which looks the same as the one on the V2. When I first got the scooter, I had the same throttle issues as you, with even worse problems. Sometimes, when starting the scooter, the throttle would activate the regen brakes. Voro told me they were having some issues with the new thumb throttles and suggested I turn off the regen brakes in the P settings. After that, my problems were solved… except I’ve now completely worn down my brake pads. Voro sent me an older style trigger throttle to fix my issues but I fell in love with the thumb throttle. Oh well.
@GingerOnWheels3 ай бұрын
Hmm, I don't have regen breaking turned on, but based on my experience with the Wolf King GT Pro, it could very well be the throttle that's the culprit. I still have a few that are wired up and laying around my house I might try and pop on there to see if it helps. I want to try and get a hold of Yogi Steve and ESG and ask if they have the same issue, it might just be mine 🫠

Just a thought about the speed and it very well may do 33 miraculous mph with your 227lbs. My guess is that you eventually founds some downhill. I mean, ride long enough in your neck of the woods and you'll find yourself not on flat ground sooner or later. I still own a Cruiser S so was very excited about the V2. To my mind the Cruiser has been redefined and really falls into a completely different category at 79.8lbs ESG tested weight. Perhaps Voro will update that weight spec when they update your 125mm shock travel spec. It's heavier than some high performance dual motor scooters like the Mantis King GT and nipping on the heels of the Nami Klima Max, Roadrunner RS5 Max, and even the 87lb Gotrax G3X 11" tire scooter. I'm not actually sure what this scooter is anymore (with regard to its roll) since you could certainly ride any of those aforementioned sport scooters in single motor mode if you wanted to and all of those have more sophisticated suspension set-ups. Anyhow, it looks great and I'll be eager to see what the dual motor option offers. I'll miss the niche that the Cruiser S fills if anything ever happens to mine. Perhaps they need to 'redefine' the Touring model and morph it into something that the Cruiser used to be with it's own redesign.
@GingerOnWheels2 ай бұрын
The Cruiser is just a scooter for a full-grown adult that doesn't need many bells and whistles and just wants a decent ride with lots of range. That's exactly what this scooter provides. Good luck finding a scooter under $1,500 That has a 30Ah LG M50LT battery with a good BMS in it. Most scooters in this price range are buying very powerful components with the least quality batteries possible. The scooter's sort of like a flip-flop Oreo. It's got decent outward facing components with an insanely great battery. The quality of the battery isn't possible to show in one video, so it doesn't hit you the same way as a lot of the sensationalist KZbin videos do. The suspension's not great, the brakes aren't excellent, the handling is mid, the headlight is pretty middle of the road; but the battery is actually phenomenal, it will go until you can't.

Can those new wheels/tires be swapped over to the older Cruiser? It would be nice to have self-sealing tires on my 2021 model. I suspect, however, that Voromotors won’t have made that an option ‘cause it might eat into the Cruiser V2 sales. If you have the chance, please experiment with that. Cheers!

Are the rumors true about being able to upgrade it to a dual motor?
@ElectricScooterGuy3 ай бұрын
If I am being honest, I don't think it's worth the hype. I was super excited to see what improvements would be made from the previous Cruiser, but as far as I can tell, the LED display was the only noticeable upgrade. The range is a tad shorter and the top speed seems to be about the same. I have heard that you will be able to add a second motor to make it dual motors which I like a lot! The acceleration gain should improve dramatically, but if you are using the same battery and controller, top speed may be affected and range will almost certainly be affected. With all that taken into account, I don't think the price is extremely competitive with other dual motor scooters that offer similar performance specs. Love the new display though!!

That would be fun. But I feel like the scooter fits the niche for people who don't want a lot of power and just want the range without having to settle for a tiny scooter, or something with solid tires. Dual motors on this thing would probably increase the price to a point where other scooters would probably become better options. Of course there will still be people who would buy it, it would probably sell out, but in my mind it doesn't make the most sense. For what it's worth though I definitely think dual motors on this thing would go 40 miles per hour. The free spin is over 40. The challenge I think that would be finding room in the deck for a second controller. Or finding the money to spend on R&D for a 2-in-1 controller.
