Came from Magic into this. Got two boxes for $90 each and about 70 singles, uncommons and rares for under $30. So buying in was what I consider affordable. Which net me all the bulk for decks along with some cool rares and legendaries to spice it up.

@@BadatBoardgames , I'm most interested in the Twin Suns format as I prefer multiplayer gaming. So Vader/Palpatine with a blue Base. Although I'm going to try out a Palpatine Red deck, I want to see if I can abuse the "When defeated" mechanic. I am an evil control player at heart.

For all the comparisons to Magic, the game doesn't have the timing issues, the mana issues, and the flow issue (I play my entire turn which could take a long time with many combos, then you get to play your turn, whereas SWU alternates actions back and forth throughout the game), and you draw 2 cards a turn which generally means you get to see more cards from your deck during the game, so I really feel like it is an unfair/inaccurate comparison.

Oh I can completely understand the details and agree with it at granular level 💯. MGT has been out so long now that it is like Kleenex even if you are buying Puffs it is still called Kleenex. Every nee card battle system will be compared and say it’s like magic but…. Sorry of we did not go into the differences enough. I do like this system better than magic because I feel like the one action back and forth and the tempo of the game make it more enjoyable even when I get destroyed quickly 😂
