We have it and totally love it! Expansion makes set up a bit complicated as some things have to come in and others out. But gladly play at any count! Take a look at some NSKN games (which you can get VERY cheap now) - which is their old name. I think you'd love Dragonsgate College and Simurgh.

I've played Nucleum solo and at 4-players, and I couldn't agree more with all of your assessments. 👍 I don't cull many games, but I can't see me playing this again, especially solo (which for me was painful).

I like the action selection. My first game I made the same mistake as Toph and put too many tiles out and then had to use my ? tile to get more. While I ultimately got decent at the game, I just don't get enough enjoyment out of the game to make it worth the brain power and time.
