I have been studying Freemasonry for over 30 years, including reading more than 10 books on the subject. I'm also what is known as a Rosicrucian Student. Rosicrucian is a German word that translates in English as Rose Christian. The great Rosicrucian teacher Rudolf Steiner teaches and explains everything, including information on how the Pyramids were built for example. And Rudolf Steiner teaches more about Freemasonry than you can learn in Freemasonry. Furthermore the Rose Croix (Rosicrucian) is honored in the higher degrees of Freemasonry, including both the York & Scottish Rite. What I have learned is that there are a lot of Atheists who don't REALIZE they're Atheist in their ignorance, or they think nobody will know in their arrogance. This includes Freemasonry, so there are a lot of Atheists in Freemasonry. Well that is against Masonic Law. Furthermore most Freemasons truly exist in a state of darkness, and ignorance. They don't know that Freemasonry NEVER had to do with physical building and always had to do with spiritual development. To be clear, Freemasonry is a school of initiation and enlightenment, all about spiritual development. This is why Atheists aren't supposed to be allowed in Freemasonry. Freemasonry has 2 problems: 1. It's loosing existing members 2. It's struggling to try to bring in anyone Rudolf Steiner teaches that Freemasonry has become a sort of empty husk. Void of It's original substance, but he says Freemasonry will play an important role for humanity in the near future. Maybe by then it won't be mostly Atheists anymore. In truth, simply professing a belief in God doesn't make someone non-atheist. A person who isn't an Atheist will have knowledge of the spiritual world, spiritual beings, and spiritual processes. If they're a Freemason they will not only follow their obligations but they will actually read and live by the Bible given to them after the 3rd degree.
