Hey, thank you so much. I don't change too much in camera, I shoot with the Eterna film setting at 4k and then I do a bit of colour grading in Davinci Resolve. I'm glad you like the videos 😊

I own an XT4 since it came out and now I am wondering if to upgrade to XT5 but I do only pictures. If you want to take videos I would have choose the XT5 or for save money the XS20 with better AF especially for video. You will find XT4 AF in video not very reliable…

Yea I do really want the XT5, I also prefer the tilted screen. I'm curious though why you say the XT4 AF is not reliable in video, I've found it to be fine when I'm filming weddings

@@tomjugginsuk I prefer the tilt screen as well..XT4 af is not bad but the new generation is much better and more in line with other brands. Just try an XT5 and you will tell me then..

Great video. I'm still using xt2 and xe1. Recently I thought about upgrading. I don't have a huge selection of lenses for my Fuji cameras. I got 35mmf2 and 50mmf2. Additionally I use adapted Pentax manual lenses. I do miss on my xt2 IBIS(I got em10mk2 with few lenses). Main reason for wanting IBIS is because I like taking my xt2 for photo walks around town evenings and nights. With xt2 I have to crank up iso up to 6400 to get anything usable. Initially I thought about getting XT5 but recently I've noticed that even London Camera exchange dropped their prices on second hand xt4's. so I was thinking maybe xt4 is worth a shot and money saved on getting it to buy new Sigma 18-50 f.28. I don't have anything right now on wider end of lenses and sigma one is way cheaper new than second hand Fuji 16-55f2.8. If I get xt5 I'll be still stuck with my two fujicrons for a while because of the limited budget. Any advice?

I was in a similar situation, I've had the X-T3 for ages and I knew I wanted to get a new camera. I had been looking at the X-H2 and the X-T5 when it came out, toying between the two. I had never really considered looking at the X-T4 because I wanted to get the best, but the X-T4 did what I needed and is still a bit step from the X-T3. I managed to get the X-T4 used for around £1,100 on Wex Photo & Video and I got it on finance to help spread the cost. Getting a cheaper camera allowed me to get a used 23 F2 lens, my first prime lens! You could look at the X-T4 deals which comes with the 16-80mm f4 lens and you could probably save a bit. I also film weddings, so I'm hoping next year I would have earned a bit to consider selling my X-T3 and getting an X-T5 (hopefully grab a used one), if you earn money from your photography/video you could consider that option as well. Hope that helps.

@@tomjugginsuk In my case photography is a hobby and form of therapy/meditation. I just enjoy recording in photos things and situations that somehow caught my eye and share them with people.

A cheap camera might be better because then you can experiment with different lenses.

@@tomjugginsuk Ordered xt4 from Harrison cameras just over a £1000 with less than 4000 shutter count and 12 month warranty. Will keep my xt2 anyway alongside xe1, Oly omdem10mk2 and two Olympus film cameras(OM10 and OM2n). I made mistake in the past selling gear and I decide it's always too much loss.

Enjoyable video. The xt4 is a big step up from the XT3; due IBIS. Good call on the reasons for the decision. A few years from now you could upgrade to the xt5; the sensor in it is fabulous. Both the 4 and the 5 are amazing

@@tomjugginsuk I don't see the difference in IQ at all between X-T3 and X-T4... IBIS, bigger battery and flippy screen (I hate it as a full time wedding photographer). IBIS doesn't help at all with moving subjects and grip on my T3 bodies fixes the weak battery problem... ;-) AF on T5 is a different thing. I wish they kept 26mp sensor!

Nice photos. I'm just going to sell my xt4 in a clinical condition :) anyone want it? :) and buy a new xt-5. I always carefully analyze the pros and cons before buying new equipment. I respect your choice and congrats on your purchase of the XT-4. It's still a great camera, and it's sure to bring you a lot of fun shooting and filming.

That's not a bad idea, I still need my X-T3 for filming weddings but a good for people who only need one camera
