IS THE G37/370z WORTH TUNING (not enough power?)

I just got a 2013 g37s coupe 6mt about a month ago and I’ve been coming to your vids for different opinions. Thanks for the help bro I just got a muff delete for now I think it sounds pretty good at the moment a nice deep tone. Got the z1 race intakes comin this week too😎 in cali so I can’t really do anything with the cats.

Yes, 3inch intakes longtube headers and a cat back for bolt ons. Cams give decent gains for the price once you have bolt ons

If you got ethanol fuel in the area e85 is a decent boost in power too

So I’m going to do GTR injectors a ported intake manifold/z1 plenum. I’m going to install those at the same time. I’ll buy the ecutek which will be $1200 w the full exhaust/intake options added on the z1 website, but I know I won’t be able to drive it until it is tuned right? Will they send u something so that the car runs right and doesn’t damage anything? I already have a full exhaust, test pipes, long tube intakes on the car un tuned.

Hey man, been looking at Invidia Gemini and Ark Grip. Do you think the ark would give you higher power numbers since it’s a slightly larger diameter? (2.36 vs 2.5)

@@hoovslow honestly I ran the Nvidia exhaust and there was a little bit of a power gain, but I don’t think you’re going to notice a difference as long as you have some kind of aftermarket exhaust. If you are planning on turbo Ing or supercharging, it would probably matter a little bit more.

@@hoovslow yeah it’s definitely louder than stock and you can still hear it but honestly when I was on the highway, I heard engine noise more than the exhaust

I have a Nissan Fuga 350GT HR, but cant find a single cold air intake that dosnt just sit in the engine bay. Maybe they just dont make them?

Where are you from because those are called differently here. And there may not be one, but you could possibly buy the ones from G 37s and cut through areas to get them upfront.

Because I will say even with mine, there is a little bit of cutting if you don’t want to completely restrict the tubes
