@@Josmersuero problem still stands. Genesis is still new on the market. We don't know how long they last. So their reliability could be poor compared to others. Now if we take their parents kia and Hyundai.. reliability is very hit or miss. They shove a lot of cool tech and luxury in but the car itself isn't always the best.

I own a GV80. Interior (the dash for sure) is very similar to this. I love it. As far as luxury goes I will say it comes very close to the Germans, maybe even matches them. Where it falls short though is engine responsiveness. Don't get me wrong. It's not terrible. However the Germans are clearly ahead in this area. But minus the powertrain then I'd say "Yes," the Genesis does compete on the level of the Germans.

@nirmaljustin2530 I wouldn't say better, but I would say it's in the same class. One area where Genesis has them beat hands down, though, is the cost of maintenance and repairs. As far as reliability, like all relatively new brands, there are a few gremlins here and there. Mostly with electronics. Now. I'm not saying this to me mean, but the mechanics at my local dealer really don't seem to be very good. Most of the time, when I bring my girl in, it seems like the mechanics really can't diagnose the problem to begin with. They'll say it was something (which I'm sure they just make up), but a few days later, the same issue arises. To be clear, the issue isn't a safety issue or anything else. Just things like the screen sometimes going blank, or the lane sensors malfunctioning and the sort. But again, it's just growing pains of a new brand.

I had 2021 g70 that I loved a lot. Incredible power and the fit and finish was nice. I ended up selling it because the glue they use in the headliner began to pop and crackle while driving during the heat. Super annoying lol

They’re nearly there. Most of the stuff are done right when we’re talking about the new redesign. I haven’t had the chance to try it myself but from what I’ve heard most people so far is that their tuning still need some more work on the tuning and some minor stuff to fully be able to go heads on with the German. Not sure about this one but the g70 tho is really compelling(full spec one is literally below msrp for the same base model bmw for the v6 twin turbo) but same story still goes with inferior tuning/track performance and their god damm half analog(either go 2 analog with 7 inch middle display or full digital would be better looking). Probably the next generation or generation after that genesis finally perfected their line up.
