In the limited capacity we got to experience these cards before the official release, this expansion genuinely just FEELS better than the last 3 combined for me. Yeah, Wild is still going to be totally *facked* unless they drop another straight to Wild expansion and balance updates with it; but this expansion is probably going to be the first one in over half a year that doesn't make me want to uninstall the game every time I play Ranked.

I was playing a control DK with airlock breach and for some reason I always destroyed pirate DH but pirate DH plus the starships beat me twice

The exodar should help a bit, as the armor is good against aggro, and the extra pieces is more stuff to throw at control. But ultimately things like odyn and incindius are the same speed and are much better at ending games.

Another thing about maladaar is that you could just play the card on six with any other card for tempo and some decks might struggle to deal with a 5/5 and something else on 6. obviously playing a 10 mana card on 6 is powerful but there will likely be situations where just playing the card for tempo is the correct play.

Rainbow DK is easily the least creative archetype. On launch, DK had 3 separate identities but Blizzard doesn’t seem to put in the effort to craft 3 identities for 1 class

Assimilating Blight would at least have a reason to exist if it could hit Distressed K'Valdir (without speaking to the viability of Plague in general). It should read "cost of 3 or less" or just "2-cost". Even staying at 3 mana for a 2-cost minion I think it would be better than how it is currently. Eldritch Being is a token that can move awkwardly placed Outcast cards into a usable position, and at 1 mana it's fairly easy to just topdeck and play it. To me it makes more sense in Outcast-heavy decks. It's much more of a diceroll trying to get big crewmate plays with it, or trying to proc your Xor'toth early - but if you ever happen to be in a situation where all your crewmates, outcasts and stars are in the wrong place, you have a fairly decent chance of fixing at least one of those problems for 1 mana. Is it good? No, but I think the Outcast line of thinking makes more sense than assuming this is aimed at crewmates. Final Frontier actually has a ~20% chance to hit a specific 10-drop as *one* of the *three* options in your discover. Thaddeus might be the best but Yogg and N'Zoth can do some stuff too. It's still probably not consistent enough to build a non-meme deck around (even with starship doublecast) but it's one of those cards that always sucks when *you* play it and always highrolls when your *opponent* plays it. I'd bet money people are going to complain about it even if it has low WR%.

Shaffar’s S-tier; in hand buff DK, (not the “standard” list, but one built to better utilize Shaffar). Once you multiply Shaffar’s Beacon with Zombietank and/or especially Swarmguard; Darkthorn Quilters and Gnomemunchers become very threatening, very quickly, (20+ atk is routine). It’s a really solid deck, at least until TGDB releases, then we’ll see.

Hearthstone makes me sad whenever a new pack comes out Priest has not gotten a good set in forever and i only play priest, its to the point where i genuinely dont play the game unless priest package is fun/interesting and just when the miniset from perils came and made overheal priest decent (NOT broken btw) they nerfed it into an unplayable state so here i go again just waiting for another 4 months (or 2 if we get starship in miniset)

I don't understand why people downplay Wakener of Souls so much. Scrapyard Colossus was a 7/7 taunt that summoned another 7/7. But Wakener also ressurrects minions for you, specifically deathrattles, which means it can resummon Rheska.
