I’ve had a few Mercedes over the year and each one had a Harmon kardon. I’m telling you right now you won’t be disappointed if you can get this. This shit slaps, on everything I love. It’s so crisp and clear. Also a close friend of mine would always have Beamers(still does) and they would all have Harmon kardons and the sound is just different.

I have the 2020 Widebody Challenger with the Harmon Kardon system. Each speaker has a tweeter except for the subs. That’s how they are saying there are 19 speakers. Nice video!

I saw a used 2020 black charger scatpack with the hk sound system. Decided to test out the sound system. I felt the intense bass in my body and the thump of the bass made my balls play ping pong. Btw, there are 19 🔊 in the car. Some speaker areas have a tweater and a mid range speaker all in one. And in the back rear deck, there's about 8-10 speakers and subs total in that one area. There are also speakers on your dash btw

I just received my Dodge Challenger 2022 and mine has the HK sound system. I’ve been told that the speakers are in multiple locations and grouped together, in the Challenger that subwoofer is in the trunk, I believe it’s 2x10 inch sub woofers. The sound is excellent I believe it’s worth every penny when I bought mine I never heard one so I ordered it on to my build. I am very glad I did the bass is powerful. Also system I think it’s a great value.

They are what you’d call coaxial speakers they would have a 6x9 with a mid driver and a tweeter attached to it therefore counts as 3 speakers in one location I’m not exactly sure but that’s what it has to be basically

They use 3-way speakers in the doors which have built in tweeters. They’re counting the tweeters as separate speakers that’s how they’re able to say 19.

Your only counting the number of speaker openings that you can see...you do understand that with-in those to get the 19spks it's counting each individual speaker, tweeter, midrange and sub as a whole to get that number. I have a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Platinum that I purchased new with a 16spkr 500watt Harmon Kardon system, 15 are speakers consisting of speaker, tweeter, midrange and the intergraded sub making it 16. Lastly yes the hump in the cover in trunk is the sub attached under the rear deck.

They legally can’t say it’s 19 if it’s not. My last charger had beats and hk sounds a lot better. Well worth it if you aren’t familiar with wiring sound systems. For 4 k you can do better, but for factory it sounds great.

As someone that had the alpine and now the harmon kardon, id say its noticely different but not that much where its jaw dropping. For 1900, i personally think you could build a better setup. Just my opinion. Im still going to add a box sub and another amp to my car if that helps people decide between if its worth the extra money or not.

Man I have a 2010 Dodge Charger 3.5 Sxt and I put in a sound system. So anyway I have 2x12 punch with a Fosgate amplifier and 2 6x9 in the rear decc and 2 6x8 in the door and another Fosgate amplifier pushing the door speakers and the rear decc. The problem is everything is rattling the sound is good and loud on the inside but man it is noisy on the outside. What can I do to quieten it down on the rattling 🤔?

No hate cuz I'm sure this video is useful to someone maybe entry-level. Its like, "hey I don't know where all the speakers are located, I'm not really sure what size the speakers, amp or subs are, but all I know is it sounds good to me". Its like doing a video called, "Is the Charger worth it". Then spend 11min looking at the brakes and saying, "I dont know what size calipers these are cuz I can't really see it", then rummaging around the shock towers and saying, "well I'm not sure where the suspension is to show yal", then pop the hood and spend 5min talking about, "well I'm not really sure what size the engine is under this engine cover"... then just drive the car around the block and say, "well I don't know much details about the car itself, but it sure drives and sounds good to me".

The harmon kardon doesn't come standard on a hellcat either. It's a package you can also buy for the hellcat trim level as well.

No, 'IMHO', it's not worth the $1,795.00 I paid. I have to qualify that by telling you I'm not a 'bass' guy, more mid-range and highs in my music. The Harman Kardon system does NOT give the 'open' or clear sound I seek. I recently visited an auto sound shop near me and was told it would cost $3500.00 to replace this system. Do yourself a favor and invest in an aftermarket sound system for your 300.

Everything shakes when the bass kicks in, rear view mirror, side mirrors, you can even feel it in your chest, I installed Scatpack light logos on the bottom of all my doors and they shattered because of the bass

I know the Challenger has 18 speakers, does the charger have one more? My friend your charger may have the Alpine system but does not have the Harman Kardon system. You may want to update the description on your video. . From what I understand you may have a woofer, a mid range, and a Small Twitter all within one speaker and Dodge counts it as three speakers. That’s where they can mysteriously hide so many speakers. Or so I’m told. The Hardon Cardon in Soundsystem has two giant woofers where the spare tire would normally go. Do you have a very sweet ride there. More power to dodge for building cars the way they should be. Big V-8 rear wheel drive and extremely comfortable and fast! Good luck she’s a beauty.

I don’t think they sell them as aftermarket parts. The only speakers that they sell are the ones like a house speaker, or portable Bluetooth speaker. Unless someone takes them out of there car a sell personally

NO don't get it. I have the Harmon Kardon and the system sucks if you really know how music is supposed to sound. At full blast it sound decent inside of the car but if you step out the car the sound is terrible. The highs suck but the bass is decent but I'm upgrading and adding 3 ten inch subs and gonna run them off 2 amps with a crossover so everything sounds clean.
