I don’t do year long quotes, mine are always by the month and they pay on the 1st…if I do a good job and help them with extra tasks then I keep them, simple as that…

Hey Man you do what is right for your business. I have a couple properties right at 70.00 at 1/4. 15-20 min trimming but when I get on the mower its over bro. I charge acres right at 120.00 that is with very little trimming or non at all. It is all how you base your business. Stay cool bro 😎💯

Hey Buster! I price my jobs based on time. It's a little different because I have two men, two mowers, two trimmers etc so, although I can get a job done faster, I have two men. I generally charge $65-$75 up to an acre and anything up to three acres, 1 go to $100-$125.00 per service. To cut to the chase, I won't lower the gate on my trailer for less than $65.00, even if I'm only cutting 1/4 acre.

Understood.. that' my rate whether I have my helper with me or not. I know how long it will take to get this one and it be right and easy for me going forward. I look at every lot like it's only me cutting it so the money has to matter.

Stand firm on your price. $125 sounds good for bi-weekly depending on how much trimming is needed.

No it’s too low, she will learn and call you because her” lawn guy shows up whenever”. We’ve all heard this before.

Personally, I don't go off of the size of the lot. I base everything on time. I quote everything at $70.00/man hour with a $60.00 minimum except for tree work and weed pulling. No matter how you quote it, if I am charging less than $135.00/month in a contract, it would mess me up psychologically. I just can't see myself invoicing someone $25.00/month. I don't care if it's only 4 months of work or not. If it were only 4 months of work, I'd just tell her she has to pay per service or find another landscaper. Also, yes, $75.00 is ridiculously low for 1 1/4 acre.

I agree but that's my baseline for this size of property with all I do and it' a step up from the basic get off the truck and cut chuck lol
