Great job As an old school ❤️ baseball I ❤️ the mental game not HR so I am looking for a way to get an edge so I love it but rarely are conditions optimal but when they are it is great 👍

yeah, they're pretty cool when they work

you usually score from first on a double anyway. Plus you can't predict a double so I'm not sure what you're proposing. Just steal every time so you hopefully get even more bases when the batter gets a hit? Not a sound strategy.

My grandson plays Select Ball. I know his coach calls it. But the problem is getting the kids, 14U, to execute. Great video.

its pretty hard to execute at any age level, to be quite honest

Once in a high school JV game I did a hit and run with a man on second. The runner was my fastest runner and the batter was a pull hitter who rarely swung and missed. The runner stole the 3rd baseman ran to cover and the batter drilled a ground ball to where the 3rd baseman was playing. Great call but it was luck at that level.

you knew your players well, so it worked.

If it's executed it is a good play. As a coach you need to know what your players can do.

Best possible play in the game, could go terribly thought if it doesn’t work

Anyone ever see a good hunter push it hard to the vacant spot?
