The reason the T-1000 had such good form and speed while running is because Robert Patrick was a track athlete in college. They evidently had to refilm the bike chase scene because Patrick kept catching up to the camera rig.

As an older chick that seen these at the theater - stop at 2. Theater was so packed for this one people day in the isles. No one left to use the bathroom or get refreshments. We were cheering and everything through the whole movie. Haven't experienced anything like it since

Saw this in a theater in Cleveland while there on vacation. I was 12. Missed the last 5 minutes cuz I was in actual pain from having to pee lol. The Terminator and T2 were the Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back for my generation. The Terminator is possibly the greatest "B-movie" ever made. By that i mean, it is the greatest low-budget sci-fi ever produced. Some of the effects stand out like a sore thumb. But The Terminator is still a great inspiration for future filmmakers. Cameron showed us what can be possible on a small budget and its freaking amazing. T2 on the other hand is the greatest action movie ever made. Cameron showed us whats possible once youve established yourself in the industry. And its freaking phenomenal. I mean, Linda Hamilton was so great in T2, she made Sarah Connor one of the greatest, strongest, most iconic female roles ever put on film. Her Sarah Connor is right up there with Cameron's own Ellen Ripley in Aliens and Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind.

I love the little details like Sarah dropping one bullet before she shot him in the face. Later, she was 1 bullet short of knocking him into the molten steel! Cameron is a master at detail, characters & story

Some more detail from Cameron... you first see John in the garage working on his bike like something is wrong with it which explains why he had a hard time getting it to start right before the T1000 chased him out of the mall parking lot. Lots of movies have that cliché where the lead character is being stalked or chased and then their vehicle all of a sudden stalls with no explanation. In this film it's actually explained "WHY" it stalls.

As far as other terminator movies... Number 3 - Rise of the Machines gets a lot of hate, but it is quite entertaining in my opinion. There is some goofiness, but it shows the start of the war against the machines. Number 4 - Salvation happens during the war, and does a bit of a flip on the "send a protector through time" premise. I'd say it's worth a watch. Number 5 and 6 - The less we talk about those the better.

Every reaction I see everyone always skips over the part, which is probably one of the scariest parts when it comes to A.I. is when John says, "You just can't kill people." "WHY?" 1. Linda Hamilton must have been getting "Ah-nold time" to get ripped like that 😍🥰 2. My guess is that stove is hot🧐 3. We have limited AI now, so does China.😱😱 4. Arnold did many of his own stunts in this movie, including riding the motorcycle. At one point he was injured, and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover. 5. Arnold is not left-handed, but the way he works that shotgun is impressive😱 6. GOOF: Enrique's dogs don't respond to "Uncle Bob" as a Terminator. 7. "I need a vacation" was ad lib. 8. This is the action movie GOAT. That is the extended cut.

❤Back in the late 80s/early 90s there were arcade machines everywhere. Like in most convenient stores, grocery stores, laundry mats, lots of restaurants mostly pizza places, movie theaters, bowling alleys, pool halls, skating rinks, putt putt courses, etc. We had one tiny arcade/putt putt on the street by our neighborhood but the really good one was at the mall but it wasn't too far away. I could've rode my bike to it if I wanted to. It was the biggest arcade here besides this place called Celebration Station. The one at the mall was one of those old school arcades though. Have so many 80s memories in that mall and arcade.❤

Hey, Major! Glad you reacted to the sequel! Here’s some trivia for everyone: There was an argument over the ending, whether to end with a scene in the future, where judgment day is averted, and everyone is living safe and happy with an old Sarah, or one where it is implied that there is still an ongoing threat in the future and there is still more to be done. Of course, the latter made it and the former is an alternate ending. Personally, this SHOULD HAVE been the end of the Terminator movies and just been a duology.

This one you watched was the extended version. This is one of the rare movies where I really prefer the shorter theatrical version. Except there is just one scene from the extended that I think is incredibly important, and I think wish was included in the theatrical cut. It's the scene where they take the chip out of his head, and Sarah is about to smash it because she doesn't trust it at all. But John has to convince her that they do need it, and she should start considering his ideas.

The metal skeleton of Arnold is called a T-800. There are many skin coverings that look like other people, each with a different number. Any Terminator that looks like Arnold is a CSM-101 (Cyberdyne Systems Model-101). A 102 or a 103 would look like a different person.

Arnold doesn't kill anyone in the movie because he told director James Cameron that he would portray the character again but only if he doesn't kill anyone. Cameron agreed and that's where you get the whole "I swear I will not kill anyone" thing from. Actress Linda Hamilton really smacked the actor who played the orderlie in the nose with the mop handle. You can actually see the blood fly in the scene. It was payback for her frustration with him for messing up takes on the earlier scene where they hit her to make her take her meds. She was annoyed, bruised and tired after so many takes. The guy with the camera looking stunned in the mall when Arnold gets up is the screenwriter for both movies William Wisher. He was the cop in the police cruiser the terminator commandeered when they left the club in the first movie. Retired. Cameron said the reason he looked stunned is because he recognizes the guy who knocked him out and took his police car.

There's a TV show called Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicals that's great. It's a direct sequel to Terminator 2 (it ignores the other movies) and stars the Cersie Lannister actress as Sarah Connor.

When I was a kid I liked the longer version better but as I've gotten older I began liking the theatrical version of T2 more. Contrary to popular belief there is nothing necessary in the extended version. Same with Aliens. The theatrical versions of both are so perfectly and elegantly edited..

You watched the extended cut. The biggest difference is the ending. In the theatrical cut, the final scene was a camera shot rolling down the road and Sarah doesn't mention anything about John being a senator or how Judgement Day actually happened. It was very ambiguous and left itself open to sequels. The extended cut is has a clear end to the franchise. This is one of the biggest reasons why all the other Terminator movies are not worth watching, as they are no longer considered canon. T2-Extended Cut prevented the rise of the machines.

Hey Major! I love your reactions and think you would love NF STORY, It's a bit different from most things you've reacted to since it is a five minute intense music video, but NF made it an INTENSE STORY that pulls you in and leaves you wanting more! I agree the way he was brought up made john grow up fast so he acted alot older than most 10 yr olds

@@robinsonsarah143 :) I said that because I speak from experience.. Not the end of the world/future leader stuff.. but growing up super fast. more than other kids for sure. By 10.. I was working and surviving and had nothing but older Vietnam vets as friends and family.. LOTS OF THEM.. so I did indeed grow up fast.. like John. Some kids do.. Especially if your an 80's kid!!lol
