Steering is absolutely fine. This line gets pedalled by many reviewers yet very few owners have any issue.

There is nothing wrong with the steering you don’t have to saw away at it.

I have an old defender 110 and came here to see an actual comparison, as that is what the title would suggest, all I ended up hearing is someone who has limited understanding in this market.

The Grenadier, like all European cars now, does have lane assist beeps and overspeed ticks. The steering corrections are bizarre as it doesn't need that at all. Some of the early models came out with tyres inflated for heavy load which could result in the car feeling like it was wallowing but if you lowered the PSI, that went away. A 73 plate is not MY24. It is My23.5 (or late MY23).

Also appears that the flat shipping chains that were over tightened, pulled the caster of some units out of factory spec of 2 degrees.

I will say, that Queen's Red is looking dead sexy. Yes, the Safari windows are awesome. Love mine. Storage is not a strength from this Magna Steyr design, though there is a number of after market metal bins that you can bolt on, now available to help, including rear cup holders. Great looking video at least. #grenniep0rn Thanks.

Yeah, it’s October 2024 and he’s trotting out the origin story… It’s sad because that was probably the high point.

Utter nonsense about the steering. Not watching rubbish like this.

These Brits love to whinge, stop expecting this vehicle to be like your modern 'take your kids to school' mobiles

Guys like him have destroyed offroad vehicles, not understanding the market. todays pickups and offroaders are too road focused and not as good off road as they could be. I don't want the car to handle like a sports car down a country lane nor do I want electronics telling me how and when to use lockers. this takes all the skill and fun away from driving. The steering and the roll of the vehicle is a compromise we make when we buy our offroader to have a better car for our hobby or more importantly work.

Just watched this vid, one of the best on track comparison IRL... The Grennie was zero drama compare to independant suspension peers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/opqoZYuBl9xmf6ssi=DtjOtjF6e3iLaPho

Who cares about badges? The ADAS system DOES INDEED have lane departure and speed notifications. Literally the only video that does not complain about the "bings and bongs". So this guy had no idea what he is talking about. Which can be disabled, BTW. There is no issue steering. Your tyre pressure is probably too high. Sincerely a Grenadier owner. So another 4x4 vehicle you don't need to "keep your eyes on the road"?

ADAS is a new addition for the US market and now starting to seep into other countries. Sad really. I love reviewers who just repeat other reviews. The steering is vague on centre, followed by having to make lots of small corrections. Which clearly would do nothing if the steering was vague on centre.
