In my opinion, Kawasaki leads the way with the modern retros as far as the Japanese brands, at least here in North America. The competition needs to step up their game. Once again, great review. 👍

This is the best "introduce the bike" video I have come across in years. Especially the description of how and where the manufacturer placed the gearing and the torque ranges, and the heavier flywheel, and why they work brilliantly for most uses of the bike, but would not be optimal for "track days" - those barely, if ever, done days for the buyer of this bike. Love the close up explanation of the controls. Also the frankness to point out when some upgraded features might be pretty marginal for most buyers. There is so much fancy tech gobbledygook that bike video reviewers just parrot from the manufacturer's sales spiel to make their video seem insightful. This video is an outstanding presentation. Wish there were more like it.

Great review! Great bike! I love my Z900RS. I like the light clutch lever and how it feels so nimble on the road. It's not super heavy. No problem doing slow speed maneuvers.

I had a 1970s Z900 in the 1980s. I think I paid $200 for it from a rich kid in Carmel, California that dropped it and didn't want anything to do with it anymore. The only damage was a broken alternator cover that I replaced from a motorcycle junk yard for $25. I would love to have another Z bike but the vintage bikes are crazy expensive. These modern bikes are nice, reasonable price, and a bank will write a loan. I didn't know there were more than one model. Thanks. I probably would get whichever is cheapest. BTW that "cowl" is a "quarter fairing."

Here in Spain a Z900RS costs 14.000€, a Z900 costs 11.000€. Love the RS, but I would never pay more than 500€ of extra money for the classic style of the RS. Some makers believe that classic bike buyers are super-rich old guys that do not consider value. Wrong.

I'm about 6 feet tall. Check out the link in the description of this video to see the seating comparison between this and the SE model that I bought. There is a difference in the seat.

Wow what a beautiful looking bike. Looks way better than the newer coming Triumphs 1200 RS with the awful modern clocks/dash. Wish they left the 2024 model alone. This bike looks far better. Not sure i have seen it in sweden. Maybe it not sells here or coming in 2025. Kawazaki make it happends. Have to try one out. Thanks for this video
