Gordon was nice to Brian. He didn’t yell at him or curse him. Brian collapsed because he’s working in a stupidly hot kitchen…overworked…and stressed from not being able to do his job CORRECTLY because his boss is a douche. For years there was a general consensus that Brian passed away, but I've spent 3 hours searching and cross referencing, and I've tracked him down. Based on the fact there are no obituaries that match up with his current location nor his full name/age/birthdate, no death records that I could find, and that there is a phone service account still opened his name (That's been verified this year) suggests that he is still alive, and lives with his wife. The current job listing for him is credible. No places that has his info uses "was" when describing him, only "is", which also suggest he is still alive. If someone claims he's passed away, ask for proof and send it my way, please. I will not be sharing where I got this info, because that would be doxxing him. If you are hell bent on finding him, then you can do it yourself. Brian lives on and probably is living a much happier life with his wife :)

Pretty sure he's passed away... Couldn't find any proof as far as his death, but all of his social media went dark around 2018 and it doesn't seem like there's any effort in trying to stop the posts suggesting he's passed away so really not sure what to think. 5:07 funny enough, the strawberries are the thing that throw me off most. Like, yeah, bacon in dessert is still ludicrous, but bacon (especially the type that’s been slightly sweetened) is apparently a good pairing with caramel. It brings an appealing saltiness similar to how some chocolate or caramel has added sea salt. Definitely a little too decadent for me personally, but I can see the appeal flavour wise in how the chocolate, caramel and bacon saltiness complement each other. Adding strawberries kinda throws off the complementary flavours. I’d defiantly just have a chocolate and strawberry dessert pizza or cut the strawberries and keep the caramel, chocolate and bacon. Combining all four ingredients on one pizza just seems like a mess.

Lived alone 2.) you didn't have much. Hotels are booked by couples and families I would assume most of the time so I can't imagine they'd want to watch their children or their wife/husband take a bath while they're watching a television set thats 2in from their face (maybe you wont notice them bathing lol). **Spoilers** I think the operational costs sunk their ship, since I bet sending things out to be cleaned cost a ton and maintaining a clean functional kitchen was def not helping. I would have preferred they cut the kitchen to put towards a commercial laundry machine and idk an ironing board. At that point it'd be in league with most hotels and if they had a interior designer they could have a nice functional hotel.

I'm pretty sure I saw the Chef from this trying to sell his salad dressings on an episode of idubbbz's kickstarter crap. Dude looked and sounded 100% identical.

There is a very old Historic Inn near where I live called Wayside Inn. People often get married and hold receptions there. They charge 180-200 a night and it includes a 'A full country breakfast in the historic Old Tap Room.'

That building was a beautiful historic landmark down in San Diego’s gaslight district. But this ninkumpoop Keane, ruined it…what a shame.

FYI: Chocolate Bacon is pretty good. Though you need to use milk chocolate to have it right. And sadly, Europeans generally hate American Milk Chocolate...so....yeah.

Same! When I first watched the episode, I had an idea of a fun pseudo-museum hotel that honored the history of luxury car makers... and then it wasn't. The budget was so mismanaged!

I watched the original episode today, so I checked Trip Advisor for comments. Appears that the limited size has shifted the hotel to an Air B&B

The steam elevator is actually really cool. When you first mentioned it, I thought, wow what a nice historic piece for display to the guests... Later when I heard you said it broke immediately after he used it I was totally gobsmacked that it was still not only operational but also being utilized... Sounds like an accident waiting to happen
