they already had a great chassis, low weight, best componets.....leave it alone and just give the customer better suspension internals,, surely alot cheaper than R&D on new frame no one liked and reverting back to an older design where you started from......coatings on forks and shock with slightly better internals for friction

Same cost as an annual Strava subscription. The software is through LitPro, not KTM only so that is part of it. Would be nice to get a year free but overall if you are spending 14k OTD plus 100+ for 5 gallons of fuel, what is $60 bucks a year to get quality data on your riding? Seems fair, especially as the app will continue to develop.

I think it’s a fair deal. Even though that the Unit itself can record no matter what. You can just not get the data if you don’t have it. As this part isn’t restricted by a subscription as the data is recroded by KTM’s own software. Still litpro does a incredibly good job on recording.

@@platin2148 Now this is starting I cars also. Everything is built in but to use it in our bmw 5series it cost about 90 dollars to use the stuff. Then I have to pay subscription on my road bike for the same thing AND NOW I need to pay a subscription on my MX bike. Call my OLD FASHIONED BUT I like how it used to be. PAY ONCE use it a lifetime

KTM are still holding onto there higher compression piston they use in the MXGP. Bikes it can not be bought The same with the Exhaust is a special product direct from Akrapovic factory

@@neizpiezAnd WP sells kits with spring forks. But this thing isn’t unheard internally there are also a lot of people that say the opposite so..? Also did i miss anything or are the japanese bikes also using air forks?
