Is The MG Astor Underpowered?🤔

Audi, BMW and Audi have no lag.......they are in different league. In this price range, 10-20 lakh, power to weight should be atleast 100+ BHP per ton however Astor CVT has around 80 BHP per ton....torque to weight ratio is also low.....and in addition to that, MG's CVT transmissions are not well tuned. I like Astor over Grand Vitara mild hybrid but even Grand Vitara is much quicker.....due to better power to weight and torque ratio. Torque transmission of GV also makes it quicker. Power to weight and torque to weight are very important for driving experience.

Sir I do have mg astor smart ... Problem which im facing is infotainment Always issue in Bluetooth connectivity False seat belt alarm Body role Roof light use to blinking issue

@ssharpreet with the infotainment please do a reset and check for updates resetting and software updates are simple to do 1. Reset the infotainment system by holding the home button on the console and releasing after it switches of and mg logo comes back and under settings look under settings and see if there are any updates pending and do them immediately and if known available take the car to the service centre for the service centre to do the update via obd connection manually. 2. For the alarm for the seat belt and roof light let the service guys know of the issue so they can fix it There is one more reset you can do remove the battery positive terminal for 10 mins and reconnect Let me know if that helped Please also subscribe to the channel

Correct point regarding family oriented and premium car, if you want to have some adrenaline rush, buy turbo petrol or diesel cars!

We bought creta 1.5 normal engine... Dosen't need turbo dude...it's very underpowered sepcially manual with poor average

I got a AStor smart, boy its mileage is around 8km/ltr!!!! the max i got is 12km! even after 3rd service... I open to suggestions..planning to sell off in case this is not working out

It’s under powered and severe lag , it has got no pull from stop or when u brake and the mileage is pathetic plz don’t defend driven for almost 2 years top end MT , it has got all the tech features but engine is not at all responsive no question about it

I have Astor select and koi lag nahi hai aur hair pin hill road par bhi bohot mast hain
