Da C. So what’s? There is no one with even a modicum of intelligence who believes Bonds or Clemens was natural. You’re right it was never proven that either one used anabolic steroids, but we’re not speaking about being denied a Constitutionally protected right. They weren’t arrested, tried, and convicted for their use of steroids, which if proven they could have been because steroids are illegal. Why weren’t they arrested? Because there wasn’t conclusive proof, but there is certainly enough circumstantial evidence that they used steroids to deny them into entry into the HOF, which is not a God-given, Constitutional right. Pete Rose is just as deserving, if not more than either one of these two and he’s being denied for far less. I actually happen to be a big Roger Clemens fan, but I’m big enough to swallow my pride and admit that he cheated, which besides diminishing the integrity of the game, brings the validity of his pitching accomplishments into question.

You’re right, they’re actually MORE juiced up. I have multiple friends in the MLB, and my brother in law played in the MLB for a couple years. All of them have told me that once you reach the college level in competitive sports that’s when the juicing begins and by the time you get to the professionals everyone is on them. Hell, some even started in high school. HGH is undetectable, everyone is on that. Most new steroid formulas are formulated with the purpose of passing drug tests. Then there is sarms, stem cell, blood oxygenation, and other forms of enhancement. Players are 3x more enhanced nowadays. I’d bet my life savings on that.

When I hear that one team "steals" the other teams signals, I have hard time seeing it as a fault of the team that intercepts the signals, instead I see it as failure of the team sending in concealing them. I always thought that one good way to prevent this would be to have the catcher NOT conceal his signs but have the pitcher also openly send a sign and go with the pitchers sign occasionally. This doubles the possibilities that have to be deciphered, decided on and relayed to the batter within the same time restraint. I am not sure of the legality of using electronic devices but imagine if the catchers mitt had an on/off switch in the thumb and then pressure activated buttons in each of the the fingers, these can be tiny. The pitcher could have micro actuators in each of the four fingers of his mitt. The catcher turns his on, sends a code using the 4 different buttons to the pitcher, which he receives through his mitt. He then nods when he understands, the catcher flips the switch back to "off" (preventing unintentional signals) and the pitch is sent. Repeat as necessary. Completely discreet, the electronics would easily be built into the gloves and no chance to be intercepted. Making them multi-frequency would make the signal much more difficult to "block" or intercept by the other team and MLB could actually assign frequencies and be able to monitor this as well. The NFL uses radios in the quarterbacks helmets in which verbal messages are sent and received and that is accepted as part of the game so I dont believe including electronics as described in MLB should be an issue at all and would completely eliminate the problem of "sign stealing" very simply.

@Super911Truther4 жыл бұрын
As an Astros fan I definitely don't condone what they have done. However, you might be very surprised, if you go look at the stats from 2017 and 2018. Their road stats were much better then their home stats the past couple of year. But in 2019 they were a better home team. Which is what makes the 2019 playoffs and even the world series that much more anomalous, as the road team won every game in the 2019 world series. So the stats might be a little misleading regarding their obvious cheating in the 2017 season and perhaps beyond. To be frank, what they did was obvious and egregious fucking cheating and I hate it! Because their world series championship in 2017 is forever tainted. But amazingly and surprisingly over the past few years, offensively they have been a much better road team. But non-astros fans will take that for what its worth...….

Astros cheated for years and not one player suspended for one game. Pathetic, the Astros players involved need to be booed for the rest of their career. Rob Manfred needs to be fired and majors suspensions need to be dealt and World Series title and rings need to be taken.

I'm a yankee fan and I hate the Astros as much as the next guy but the fact that the Astros in 2017 went 53-28 on the road (without cheating) and 48-33 at home (with cheating) kinda suggests this whole thing is overblown. Kinda like how everyone thought deflated footballs actually mattered and then Brady destroyed everyone anyway.
