I sold my pioneer 1000-3 due to lack of leg room for me. I'm 6'1", and my feet and ankles would hurt too much after a long ride... if they ever make one with another 8+ inches of leg room, then I'd definitely consider getting another one.

@HondaProKevin Жыл бұрын
@@mikekoehler7098 It won't let me tag the original poster, so I'm tagging you in the answer to this one bud ;) The Pioneer 1000-5 isn't discontinued, Honda has delayed the 2023 model year announcement for the rest of the Pioneer lineup which is why you only see the 1000-6 Crew for the 2023 lineup. Don't worry though, the 1000-5 and 1000-3 models aren't going anywhere and will be announced shortly.
@mikekoehler7098 Жыл бұрын
@@HondaProKevin that’s great to know I’ll keep waiting then and see what happens. Hopefully with the lower gearing in the transmission the clutches will hold up better to. I love the 1000-5 for the short wheel base. I plan on running 29 inch tires and snorkel as it’s all swamp in this area. Thank you so much for that information as I couldn’t find anything on it online anywhere.

Always a Honda fan but I’ve just about decided to pull the trigger on a defender limited. Although it Honda will meet some of these options offered from can am and Polaris I’d go with the pioneer crew. I live in a cold climate and have to have enclosed cab and all the cold weather options.

How long until we see a 6 seater sport sxs 😂?
@HondaProKevin2 жыл бұрын
Lol I like your thinking! In all reality, it's not that far fetched these days with the width some of the sport sxs models are coming in at. If Honda can cram 3 seats in a 63" wide machine, surely they could do that with more real estate to work with in a sport model. Makes you wonder if we'll make it to that point and if any of the manufacturers are toying around with the idea. I'd rather see a single seater Talon with that new Hornet 750 engine though, talk about stupid fun! And then I don't have to worry about hurting 5 other people while doing the usual shenanigans 😆

Got a 22 defender for one day lol. Rode it for an hour and going down hills standing on the break pedal only slightly slowed it down. Had a loud clunk and one of the shocks preload popped down somehow. Got it back to the house without dying and it leaked fluid all over the place. They offered to pick it up and fix it but needless to say I had them pick it up and return my money. Got it because a friend has one. It rides nice and he likes it but it's a few years old and there is plastics falling off everywhere. Thought he was just rough on it. Now I just think that's just how they are built. Everyone hates polaris but our 2013 with over 8k hours is still going strong haha will continue to use that until I find a sxs worth the money
