I’ve had many vehicles in my life, both domestic and foreign brands, and can say with utmost confidence that Genesis is the best! In 2020 I purchased a 2018 Genesis G90 and am still amazed what an awesome vehicle it is. Powerful smooth acceleration, total comfort, materials are high end, outstanding vehicle! After watching this clip Joe, I’m going to start saving for the Genesis X hard top coup, thanks much!!!!

This looks like it will be the GT80 or GT90 when it goes into production. Genesis already has trademarked several GT names to have a number of coupes/convertibles in the very near future. I can't wait!!

I still remember your review of the Hyundai Genesis and whether or not it was a underrated Sports car. Genesis was certainly underrated then, but it's catching up now, making strides and just about every vehicle they make, save for a new sports car. Maybe they could succeed with this one. But I kind of doubt it.

Ok I had to stop the video midway to get my thoughts out before I forget them. First. Takes cues from the fortys, with convertible aspects love it. Look em up. Second. I have been falling in love with Genesis design style and comfort. Has been an arm bend because of it being from hyabudi...not that I can afford them or caddy or the Germans anyways but still. Third. I've been telling my brother since Genesis I love their double stack head lamp design since it first appeared and love the evolution of it. Forth. This design is what we learned in pine wood derby. But they made it look sexy than ever. Ok press play.

Absolutely gorgeous! I hope that at least the lines, shape and size of the grill trickle down to production vehicles. It seems much more in proportion than the gaping grills currently used (although I still love 'em). Oh, yeah, and that steering wheel... let's have that as well!

Always good to see what's next-generation in the auto industry. However, prototypes are most often just road buzz until it is actually on the showroom floor at the dealership. Style wise it has nice cemetery and the attention to detail looks great but the overall performance of any vehicle is paramount. Looks like something sexy to grace the Vegas strip or to spin the block out Venice Beach. Guess we'll just have to see what direction Genesis is headed. I'd give this little bhaddie 4.5 Mags!

Genesis 'nailed it on the head' with their first convertible. It appears they are using a fine hammer too. I like it the prominent design features. The led lines that are separated by the arc of the front wheel are epic.

Yes they are pulling it off! They have come a long way definitely in the right direction! In 2009, I owned a beautiful Genesis Coupe 3.8 V6, an amazing car that I truly miss - it had everything in it - and I didn't have to pay for them as an upgrade - navi, bluetooth and lots more remember this is year 2009! Hopefully, they first offer a AWD version first that's the only reason why I got rid of that car in the first place it had major problems getting up a very lightly snowy hill with my son in the car in New York! If that never happened I would have kept the car way longer! Please listen to me Genesis release the AWD version first and I promise you sales WILL do WONDERFUL for this car / EV!
