I like this "Milwaukee local" guy at the end. "Is this about abortion and stuff?" - Here she had to laugh out loud despite the serious topic. It's easier to be pro-life when the questions are asked by a beautiful woman with her hair touseled by the wind. If she wants to protect babies what man would want to stop her?

Many did so at the coercion of men, with lack of support from them, or from abandonment of men. No all, but many. Just as many men have blood on their hands as the women. It’s the culture of “blaming” women that makes them distrust the men. You won’t eliminate abortion until you fix men’s attitudes toward women. It’s what is at the root cause of all of this. Men not caring for women.

The 14th amendment was ratified so that the former slaves would have protection under the law equal to that of whites. That’s pretty much it. It didn’t even require that women be allowed to vote. That’s why another amendment was necessary. In reality, the unborn are indeed people. However, in constitutional terms, people refers to people outside the womb. Taking the Constitution at face value, it is a consent contract between those consenting to be governed and the government they are ordaining. It includes the 10th amendment which reserves power not given to Congress back to the states. And to be blunt, no area of the constitution gives power over abortion to either Congress or any branch of the federal government. So I’m not saying that the states should decide as some sort of morally perfect argument. But because it is what the 10th amendment requires. And if we ignore the 10th amendment, we are ignoring the terms under which the people have consented to be governed. And wounded the legitimacy of this government that is ignoring its own consent contract. Again, I recognize this isn’t a morally perfect case I am making. It is a reflection that the United States is a republic, not an empire. So for any federal band on abortion to be legitimate, it would have to come in the form of the constitutional amendment. The way I see it, I am pro-life. I think the unborn should be protected from the point in which they can be detected through standard medical testing in the same way that bald eagle eggs are protected by law. We consider itself evident that bald eagle eggs are perhaps not birds yet, but life worthy of protection because these eggs belong to tomorrow and tomorrow’s world.

The 14th amendment was about abolishing slavery - whose decedents have never voted for the modern GOP.

With few exceptions, many of those Republican Delegates offered flasid and Lukewarm responses on the Removal of the Pro-Life platform. I have no stock in that flawed conviction. I yearn for a Political Party that is much more than just being a Military and Economic Power. The need for a Political entity that reflects a Moral and Religious People is paramount. A Party Platform that stands and reflects Religious Freedom, Security, Peace, Law Enforcement, Moral Values, Strengthening of The Family, and a Culture of Life for "We The People!" is the Political Party for me. I will only call myself a Republican, under those circumstances and conditions. We need to have a God Fearing Pro-Life Party Platform. We will either be a Pro-Abort Nation or Culture of Life Nation. For in time we will not be both. The 14 Amendment does apply to the Unborn. Just as it applies to those who suffered from Chattel Coercion 160 years ago. Begin Our Culture of Life Reconstruction!

With all respect, the Republican nominee whether you like him or agree with his full agenda, he is alive right now for ONE reason, think about it when you yell out it's not perfect or doesn't exactly match your higher morals and standards. The “prolife” politicians and organizations put forth laws of partiality and have voted to keep abortion regulated and legal in “prolife” states. Bills of equal protection are being blocked in conservative states by the prolifers. It’s heart breaking.

the one that tried to say "conservatives believe it was something that should be up to the states" talk about full of crap no real conservative believes this just like no conservative believed slave owner ship was a state issue we fought a civil war to make that very clear. preventing murder is EVERYONES business. It is one of the few areas that government needs to be more involved in. Some how people get this idea that conservatives want less government involvement in every aspect of our lives this is not correct. We want the federal gov involved in those areas it should be involved in things like national defense protecting our borders lowering crime rates preventing abortion. Abortion is a federal issue not a state one. No candidate who says that it is a state issue is really prolife. This is the same as saying "personally prolife but the woman should chose for herself..." it is a cop out and just word play to say you are pro abortion. If you are not against it for others you are for it period!

Leaving it to the states is not the most perfect moral solution, but it is what the 10th Amendment requires. That is what was understood from the beginning through 1973 when the Supreme Court decided all of a sudden decided the 10th Amendment did not matter anymore. Thankfully they have corrected this error. You mentioned slavery in your comment, that was ended by the amendment process. Abortion would require the same solution but until then abiding by the 10th Amendment is the law of the land. And if I'm elected president and I put my hand on the Bible and swear an oath to God to uphold the 10th Amendment, the only moral thing for me to do is to uphold it, while perhaps supporting such an amendment but the states must ratify it. So that is where we are.

Life begins at conception but rights begin at birth which is what protects women from carrying an unwanted pregnancy. If a couple believes their baby is better off not being born, they have a right to believe so. And you know who said that? The man on her shirt

“Rights begin at birth.” Why? The child is still as alive inside the womb at outside. Why should anyone get to decide whether that child should live if he or she already is? Btw Jesus was only describing the pain that Judas would go through after betraying him. He also said “And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” Matt. 18:4 See that you do not despise one of these little ones. I don't like the GOP nor everything in their agenda or history. Its politics after all. What i don't agree 💯 is attacks on the only opponent standing up to pure evil , imperfect or not, because i am so much more righteous than this warrior's position and they don't satisfy my high moral ground ?.
