Looking at what Alpine did what their car and then looking over to the Haas cars just made me lose so much respect for the team. at this point, I wouldn't mind if someone else bought the team, so many people would run the team better.

My estimate of Russia's weight, assuming that we only consider the first 10 metres of the surface depth is 273600000000000 tonnes. The calculation is 17.1 million square km, 10 m depth, assume the first 10 m is earth with density of 1600 kg /m3. If we assume granite rather than soil, the weight would be 461700000000000 tonnes. So even if we assume the lighter material (soil) and only go to 10 m in depth, that is still a pretty phenomenal suspension. I am not including the weight of any structures or mountains in the calculations.

It's that it's a blatant attempt to subvert the rules , it's clear where the power is in that teams management structure. The actions on and off the track of mazepin and the lack of consequences for his actions. To then effectively drive a car plastered with it as clear rule breaking it's like a slap in the face to the fans who all Want him gone to all those fans that have survived similar or worse of what mazepin did to someone. On top of that one of the most exciting or fan favourite prospects is having to drive in that car and livery alongside him. Then you have a Russian flag plastered all over an 'american' team that will and has pissed off American fans.

As an American, 2022 should be a better year with their car being built in Maranello and if Ferrari gets their act together on their engine this season, Hass could get some good results with a good engine. There is no need to burn up all your tokens and cash this year when the regulations for next year are going to be different. Better to get a head start on the 2022 car this year and get it properly developed.

This is why I don't get how people are getting upset over this livery. Sure, maybe the fact that Mick is getting left out is a valid point, but that isn't where the criticism lies, it's in the fact that it's the Russian flag. People won't act this hysterical if there was a US flag, or a chinese flag on the car. Is it just because of muh big bad scary russian hackers, or that farce of a narrative about russian collusion in 2016, or is it their actions in Syria? Or is it Ukraine? All these criticisms are things that a number of other countries are just as bad for, and seeing people behave like this across the entire F1 follower base is cringe.

I think it would be cool if teams could change their liveries like when they bring an upgrade to the car not necessarily when an upgrade is done because haas wouldn’t be able to change but the could get a fluorescent green accent on the Aston Martin some races and have the pink at others

It's actually a beautiful livery and the Russian flag on it makes perfect sense, since you know, a Russian dude practically owns the team now 😅 However, I was surprised to hear the FIA approved the livery, given that it is literally plastered with Russian flags front, right and center 👀
