I think for veterans or older players the rerun system might be good as you might just need a cherry pick one or two characters, but if you’re a new player feeling the compulsion to go after every single character on the banner should not only be a bit overwhelming justout reading intimidating

Simple: make it last till the end of patch OR at least 3/4 of the patch Bonus: Gift of odyssey should appear two times per patch (phase 1 & phase 2)

You need it to complete it in some cases. Luckily MoC finally seems to calm down personally but I've felt that I HAD to get meta. Now I try for fun and it's going decently:]

@@Lyr0n You only need all the new characters and higher eidolons if you can't build characters/teams and play them properly. Having a good long-term pulling strategy is quite important as well, especially for f2p-ish players. Sadly, these skills, at least from what I have seen so far, are not very prevalent in the majority of the player base. 😂

Right, now that I have elemental coverage, now I’m looking forward for vertical investment. And if I’m looking for a new character, I’ll let their first release pass then go for their return. If I really want them though, I’ll go for it of course.

@@ZitronCrazy the one in genshin will probably be rarer considering you can lose your 50/50 to anyone on the banner, the hsr one is just a normal rerun but faster (more money for hoyo and less time for u ^_^)

This is a mixed bag. On one hand it's good for people who want faster reruns, and great for whales who want to get more dupes. But for new players it's intimidating. You have two very powerful playstyles rolled into one banner rotation, and all of them have synergy. The other is you have genshin that takes a year and a half for a character you want to come back. Hoyo really should just put units into the standard banner now

I LOVE the rerun banner option. You just have to think of your current roster and what unit is gonna benefit your account. I won my 50/50 with Robin ❤😭

I must admit, I’m TERRIFIED! I won my 50/50 on Both Feixiao and Robin (took 78+ pulls for each) and I want Topaz to round off the team but given this amazing luck I’ll probably loose that 50/50 and then Lingsha would be “nice to have” as well as a potential upgrade to Gallagher for my Firefly/HMC/Hunt March 7th team. And then there’s the potential that Hoya says fuck me and announce Sunday (someone I’m pulling even if he has the worst kit in the game) for the next patch as well as Aventurine(who I plan on getting as the 4th for my Feixiao team)

Simple solution to improve the rerun banner massively: make it so if you lose the 50/50 you get one of the other two characters on the featured banner, rather than losing it to a standard banner 5*.

Break and dot is what I’m going for so I finally got my Robin for my Kafka black swan Huo Huo. And honestly I’m pretty content with my Firefly team I don’t really feel like getting a Lingsha since my Gallagher is doing fine E6. If for whatever reason he can’t beat future content then sure I’ll get Lingsha but he’s doing fine for now.

I personally like it, because it means characters you've been waiting for could rerun faster. I know the FOMO coud be overwhelming, but I think it just means I need to organize and plan my pulls better. For example I grabbed Robin in this run, Because I know my FuA team is way better pieced together than my Dot Team and tho I really like Kafka and Black Swan and I really want them, I know my pulls are not enough, so I won't be able to pull them for now.

Only complaint I have is that it doesn’t last the full patch that’s about it I mean have the 4 stars change maybe but I think they should last the whole patch since it’s so many banners

I just got the lickiest pulls of my life, i was 15 wishes in, 20 pulls and robin, 50/50 won, then i wanted moze so i pulled on feixiao, the last 20 pulls i get feixiao... i didnt get moze, but i have no right to be sad about it

Kafka doesn’t need Black Swan; her design is made to work with any DoT character. Plus she has direct damage options.

I don’t know why everyone is complaining? You’re not supposed to get every single character in the rerun. With the growing number of characters, this makes it so you don’t have to wait 1-2 years for a character to get a re-run.

My only built team is the Firefly team, but Kafka is the reason i started playing, so i pulled for Kafka and Swan and got em both this morning(used up all my jades). My only 5 stars are FF, Welt, Himeko, Fu Xuan, Ruan Mei, and Ratio. Do you think id be better off saving for Acheron for a Dotcheron team or should i save for a new DoT support?

Dotcheron is still quite good right now, but has no long-term viability as the team is basically an accident. I think a certain Fire Fox in 2.7 would be a better long-term investment for you. Not to mention I don't think having Acheron without her lightcone is a good idea.

@Noqtis I don't have her myself, but I've heard she fits in well with Kafka and Swan if you give her the Fermata LC from Forgotten Halls since in increases damage done on targets who have Shock/Wind Shear on them as well gives the user a dot.

System is great. Positive is more reruns more often. Negatives are none. I don't understand why anyone would say otherwise. F2p's should just stop whining and accept that they will never have all characters they want, no matter if there is 1 rerun or 10 per patch. Low spenders are eating good and whales don't care, cause they already have E6 from the first run. People should just learn proper prioritization and spending (pulling) moderation. Really don't see why this is even worth talking about for 20 minutes...

@@Lyr0n FOMO is just a skill issue. People should stop being so entitled and learn some moderation. If you can't pay for pixels, then don't. If you can only pay a little, then do your research, deliberate and only pay for what you really want. It's not that hard. Well, for the majority of gacha players it apparently is, but that is not the banner systems fault 😂

I pulled once today to try and get Moze, because I heard he basically fills Topaz's niche. Since I don't have Topaz I decided to get him....and got Feixiao as well....which means I now also have a use for the Jiaoqiu in my account, since he sinergizes well with her. I will admit he was an impulse pull, but I did pull for Robin, when she came out, because I wanted her in my account soooo.....yeah. Honestly, I kinda like this new approach. It gives you options, go for the new shiny toy, or one of the ones you could not get but have been reliable so far? I didn't pull Kafka, despite her being Dot queen because I am satisfied with my Swan E0, Sampo E6, Guinaifen E4 and Luocha E1 team. I didn't pull for Robin because she is already Serviceable at E0 and I kinda forgot what the last rerun is. That said, there is 1 criticism I am making.....why not make the rerun banners 2? 2 in the first half, 2 in the second? Now I have to skip Lingsha, despite her being Topaz and Gallagher doing the DBZ fusion dance, in order to save for Tingyun or the Fate Collab

I have a question guys. Had Feixiao guaranteed. Already 45 pulls into the event banner. In 10 passe, I got Feixiao. Moved onto Robin, 70 pulls and I got another Himeko instead. My Question is with only 22 days on the Robin banner, will I be able to get 50-70 more passes as a f2p player?

i got both feixiao and robin on this patch with f2p pulls, but i am frustrated with this system bc i wanted kaffka's lc as a dot enjoyer myself, instead i prioritized having a fua team since my account needed one. Now i need to wait a year for another kaffka rerun

I think it's garbage personally. My reason is that they put units that work together in the same rerun. That is greedy and stupid. They should be putting 3 characters that are for different teams so you can slowly pick them all 1 by 1. Most people can't roll on two character banners and light cones and even if they could you need way too much time to build two characters that it's pointless. And when the light cones and 4 star characters are the same across all 3 banners they further lose value.
