Yes this can happen. Full auto is a little extreme but certainly burst fire problems

I see your point about aftermarket slides potentially affecting sear engagement, as I’ve had to modify cruciforms in the past to make my P80 builds drop-safe. However, I don’t see how aftermarket/out-of-spec grip modules would affect sear engagement, since any slop in the slide would is limited to the amount of slop in the rails. Considering the rails are part of the FCI, I would think sear engagement wouldn’t be affected even if an out-of-spec grip module were installed. What is your take on this?

sear engagement is a moot point on a non cocked striker - especially so with a firing pin block

This is incorrect....there are times where the sear is trying to engage while the firing pin safety is still disengaged

The striker is in a half cocked position when a round is chambered. The trigger has to be completely pulled for the striker to be completely cocked back. Or It doesn't have enough force to ignite the round. Plus it has to get past the striker block.

This is not true....what happens when the user is holding the trigger rearward and the striker slides off the sear? Then what?

​You're dealing with people who don't understand that there are safeties that stop the gun from firing without input, safeties that make the gun drop safe, and safeties that prevent the gun from during into a G18. I'm assuming, that a Glock switch interferes with one of those safeties, thus resulting in a gun that continues to fire.

I think the reason Glock hasn’t introduced an fcu all this time is it adds a new variable for safety. That thing better be snug fit and not rattling when installed if you’re gonna mess with it.

Just keep in mind all the issues Sig had when they first released the 320. Had to issue a huge recall. Hopefully ruger did their homework. This could huge for Ruger. Different size frames, carbine frames, flux like pistol mods.

100% I enjoying keeping it factory. You can train to be accurate with any trigger. And honestly most are horrible, people's fundamentals are refined. Short/light triggers can make up for poor fundamentals at the sacrifice of safety.

Calling the RXM a "Glock Clone" is such a misrepresentation of the RXM. It is literally everything the Glock isn't, better, and not a Glock at all but that said your point is spot on in terms of safety and parts swapping. Solid Video.

Why? It's a Glock clone made by a 3rd party company that took creative license with some aesthetics, grip angle/contour, optic cut/sights, etc. According to Glock design patents (which are what really matter when defining what it is), it's a Gen3 Glock clone. That's why all the companies making Glock clones had to wait for those patents to expire before selling them. So, it's not a misrepresentation. It just is what it is. Other companies have already done the same for longer and with different platforms. Ruger also makes clones of several Colt designs, such as the 1911, AR-15, & 1873 Single Action Army.

It would be in Ruger's interest to deviate from the Glock Gen 3 where Glock parts will not work. Actually, to call the RXM a clone is ridiculous, considering one is better made with a chassis and the other is not. Sooner or later the lawyers will pick up on this. Personally, if I were a Ruger engineer I would alter the slide rails where a Glock slide would not fit.

It fits BUT is it as safe as it was before? I don't want to have a slug in my leg or worse, have to stand in front of a judge explaining why a hybrid, non-stock firearm I was messing with accidentally discharged. SIG is paying out millions now. Taurus ruined its companies reputation, and deservedly so, for manufactoring defects.
