I adore my Russian Blue, Jasper. He loves to just chillax! A wonderful companion for an older person. These cats do best in a quiet home. He is so talkative in the morning and we have fun conversations.

Some of your photos don't look like Russian blue cats at the beginning I noticed a couple that are definitely not Russian blue

Oh, comrade, I feel your pain! My Russian Blue companion also departed at a mere 12 years. It's like they had a rendezvous with misfortune. But fear not, for every feline is unique, and their lifespans can vary. Perhaps we just had a particularly adventurous soul by our side. Let's cherish the memories of those precious years we shared with them, albeit shorter than expected. Who knows, maybe our next furry friend will exceed all expectations and live well beyond the expected range.
