I’m that semi retired guy looking to do something with this dually since we haven’t bought our rv yet. It’s not getting used and I can sure use the traveling and being paid for it! Thanks for always having a good and TRUE outlook on your videos!

I applied on Monday using you as a referral. I got a call Tuesday saying I was approved. I’m leaving my job of 10 years to start this new venture. Going to pick up a truck either tomorrow or next weekend and hope to start orientation first week of January. Look forward to talking with you and I’m totally down for an interview once I get started.

I can’t wait to see your December numbers. I am in a six figure retail leadership job that I absolutely hate. I have been doing this for 30 years and just burned out. I have been running scenarios with how many miles I would have to drive plus the tax benefits to make it work for us. By the way I move to Wisconsin from Texas in 2022 and love it here. We are in Milwaukee area. Keep up the videos coming. You keep it real which makes it easy to watch and not cringey. I enjoy watching them and learning about the business, hoping to make a jump into it after bonus season.

In one of your videos, can you please talk about the best credit card to redeem free stays at and also the motel chains that have the best programs for that?

Yeah I bought a brand new ram dually 4x4 3 months ago for $57,000 now granted it’s a tradesman but it’s got the bigger screen and cameras, very nice truck I love it. I’m thinking about buying the wife a new single rear wheel ram 3500 as a backup iv seen them for $50,000

Even tractor trailers break. Leaf springs, air suspension bags tear. Driving these freaking roads is like driving in a jungle. Potholes are like moon craters.

I saw an article that Cali (along with a few other states) are going to prohibit diesel rvs being registered in their state.

I was wondering why dodge is the better truck for RV transport
@lucianestridge79643 күн бұрын
So far I love it. But, I am an ex trucker with over 33 years experience. I know that's not everything and please don't get me wrong. I am restricted to loads under 37ft. And I can't self dispatch until I get more runs under my belt than I can remember what is. When I leave my home in Kentucky I have to do the math and leave at a time that will get me to Goshen at around 8:00 am when dispatch opens. Or take a chance on having a trip at all and going up the Sunday before. So in this case I get a room and hope something comes up. Usually when a load does come up on the board I just pray that someone in dispatch picks up the phone before a self dispatching driver takes that load. Dispatch rarely answer the phone on the first call or calls back in a timely manner. I'm not ripping on dispatch because I know they can only do so much. Like I said, I love this but I do think Wave needs to drop this 37 ft restriction or let us self dispatch. Most of the loads have been over 40ft. Little changes like this could really brighten someone's view on this life style and the company. We didn't sign on to this so we could hang out in motels for sleep in the back seat while hoping for a load.

I'm in the same situation. I find emailing them is much quicker than calling. In most cases, you have a response before 830. Just remember other loads are posted during the day, even reloads. I check around 11, 1, and 3. I forget what they said in terms of when things usually get posted. As long as you're flexible, you'll get something
@link79353 күн бұрын
As for me, I usually email with 2-4 in mind. I'll likely get one before those who self dispatch. Having that flexibility ensures you at least can get something!

@link7935 thanks so much. I will definitely do that.

I need to email you for your number. I took a 22L to alabama the day before this video was filmed(that friday). Had I known you needed it, I could've backed off taking it. Alas, it was the only thing on the board keeping me to the east for turkey day!

Why buy a pickup when class 8 tractors exist for the same price and cost lest in maintenance?
@Leo-gx6je2 күн бұрын
I went into rv trans port to get out of a big truck and it was a mistake!!
@EfficientRVer3 күн бұрын
If I were that into it, I'd get a Volvo with sleeper cab and forget about hauling stuff behind a pickup of any brand. Ride in safety and comfort for a million miles, in something designed to haul more weight than you're hauling, rather than being marginal at best. Stick a car on its deck, like HDT RVers do, for times when you're staying somewhere for a while. Or just keep a separate car at each home/family location, to stop using the pickup as both a commercial hauler and a family car. I get the whole non-CDL mentality, but it's putting you in a part of the operating envelope which pilots call "coffin corner".
