I don't live an industrial life style by any means, but I'm still insanely concerned with durability. I really want this phone and I love the whole concept despite my constant bad mouth about it. I just really cannot not be concerned with longevity and durability. I will absolutely wear a phone down to its last update before getting a new one, and I need a phone that can last for it's whole update life. I don't feel like saving up all that money just for it to be wasted in a year or 2. Given, most fold phones are meant to be replaced in abt 2 years, but I'd love for it to last longer

I have the flip 3 rn and I'm debating getting the flip 6. I really love this phone and have dropped it tons of times on different terrain and the screen, cameras, and back display are holding up fine for being treated mediocre. Definitely way sturdier than you'd expect. The main concern with these phones is the battery after a whIle though. The battery on my phone has never been the greatest but it's gotten significantly worse because of my charging habits in the first year and because the phone needs a smaller battery for the flipping itself. I do think the 6 has a way better battery life though

I got a Z Flip 6 Silver Shadow for $349 with no trade in. So far it is a good phone and seems to be a quality/premium device. Battery is much improved over the Flip 5. Everything is snappy and smooth in my day to day operations. I love the pocketable form factor.

i honestly think if you have the money and are looking to significantly reducing your screen time i recommend it, personally i didn't care about foldable phones but someone said it's very inconvenient to open and they started to use their phones less i gave it a shot and couldn't be more thankful (i do hate how the screen feels), i have honestly been more thoughtful while using my phone and the front screen makes it feel like a pazer and i am loving the fact that i reduce my screen time alot (form 5hr 30mins hrs to 3hr 30min ish) so i love the change, the display looks good and has all the high-end software features so i am loving it (just because i am more thoughtful while using it, apples face unlock just ruined my brain)

I just got it i switched from the s22 ultra. That shit got water cause I dived into the pool with that I thought It was waterproof. But the z flip is the best phone I've had so far that shit fits good. U can also use the screen in the back which is amazing u can use as n take better pics n shit. I have a Z flip 4 and durability-wise, the fact that it's still working on my hands after a couple of years means a lot to me. My phones usually live around a year before giving up on my clumsy hands. I'm really glad that it's durable because i liked the flip phone experience so much i'm thinking about buying another one when this one i have now gives up on me :D i agree with you that the cameras could be better, with that upgrade the phone would be perfect in my opinion.

I have a fold 3 that I love. My wife and I bought one each when they launched. I upgraded from a flip 5g the first gen flip. Then on the very last day of our samsung care insurance we both put in the only claims we did. Her inner screen was giving out and mine wouldnt open flat and had some burn in on the cover screen. Not bad considering we had these "fragile" foldables for 3 years at that point. They sent us shiny mint condition fold 3s and they are still a solid phone. I miss having the flip form factor so when a deal for a yellow flip 6 came up i scooped it up. Now i suppose ill have a fold for work and professional stuff and ill have a flip for my personal stuff 😂

Plz ditch the flip..their screen back light is pathetic..u wont see anything under the sun even with full brightness..2nd its hinge part is very very sensitive..one fall and its impact will be seen on the screen .u cnnot evn think of keeping it in your back pocket.nd sit on it with slightest of weight. Yes, mine sounds like cracking glass, but looks fine on the screen so far. I'm worried about it though as some say it's not good and a few say it's normal and most other's say theirs are perfect with no noise when opening or closing. I'm personally uncomfortable with this and it's not even 2 weeks yet.

Hey i got my Samsung flip 6 when it came out and i took it travelling for a consecutive six months. My own opinion is that I'm ambivalent with it. Of course the form factor is great. But the biggest pet peeve is that a lot, and i mean a lot of apps just aren't optimised for the flip 6. And its 2025 now. Plus, you can't really use the flip in its pocket form much. Sure good lock allows you to open up pretty much any app. But like as soon as you want to open a notification, 9/10 you have to open your phone to respond to it, which for me, defeats the purpose of a flip phone in this day and age. I vant even use google assistant when its closed, you have to open the phone but of course bixby works when its closed (surprise surprise). If it was more customised and could use the phone flip screen to go to your homescreen, then I'd be okay. But since you can't, it really is a deal breaker. Now using your phone just feels like extra steps (see's a notification in flip mode, presses the notification, then says you have to open the phone)???

We are having a terrible experience with this phone!! What a nightmare of a purchase! My husband got this phone, at first we had a huge problem with the phone as it used to heat up rapidly, even if you use google maps of play music on the phone via Bluetooth! We took it back to Samsung and they eventually after many weeks of study from their end (I had to use another phone in the meantime transfer all data- just imagine the trouble we had to go through inspite of buying a new phone!) agreed to exchange it for another new piece. Now out of nowhere the whole screen keeps flickering and now we have no idea when the phone will fully conk out. A phone is so important these days, all our work calls and messages and life depends on a phone and we cannot afford this after spending such a bomb on the phone! Would not recommend this phone for anyone. Save yourselves the trouble.

Do not buy . After one week of use , a grain of dirt or something got on the screen, causing an indent on my screen when closed. This caused the screen to burn out and samsung to say not covered by the warranty. £300 to replace.

i do and as a professional illustrator and use photography and in my work looking for fine detail the cameras upgrade is significant although many reviews seem to miss this fact while wasting time comparing prices and features to the very cool Moto. But the Samsung Z Flip 6 IS a solid upgrade from the 5 even though the changes seem conservative.

Yes, better build and better picture quality and battery life. However, the maintenance from the front screen protector is annoying and it is not as durable as a candy bar style phone. I recommend the flip mainly for runners in my opinion

Additionally, after asking the chat on the Samsung website whether the phone is waterproof, I received the information "Yes, it is waterproof, but it is a function, not an option that allows you to bring the phone closer to the water. It is simply a protection." "We do not delve into the way water gets in, simply traces of liquid are not covered by the warranty" Additionally, at the bottom of the current page there is information: 32. Based on laboratory test conditions for immersion in fresh water to a depth of up to 1.5 meters for a maximum of 30 minutes. Use on the beach or pool is not recommended. "The device's water resistance is not permanent and may diminish over time due to normal wear and tear." Another element is the screen, which stopped working after 2 months of using the equipment, but I will not receive a refund for immediate repair with data retention, because Samsung is not responsible for user data, and a replacement phone is not their problem. It's laughable, out of 8 phones I've had from different price ranges and of course other brands (because I bought Samsung for the first and last time) none has been damaged. I advise against it...

I got the razr minus for $15 a month on t-mobile (no money for the phone, $15 for the line) so $360 for the pgone and service for 2 years. Using it as a secondary phone and its great. If the flip were close to free or $5 a month i would get it. Since it wasnt it was an easy choice. Not the fastest and has some hiccups but for the price its fantastic

Not worth the money as the phone break down easily. After having it for 6 months, when you flip it open the screen freeze. This is a very common problem.

Honestly I probably wouldn’t play games on this device the battery is small, and many users report that it heats up with heavy usage. I would opt for the s24 ultra if you want a nice gaming experience

Apparently all the comments here are from bots from Samsung, because I really regret buying this phone, the battery gets very hot, I have to charge it 3-4 times a day. Today any reason the phone turned off and won’t turn on, nothing helps, the phone doesn’t even see the charger. P.S. I will never buy Samsung again.
