im so happy with this lens, got it for 470€ used but really good Condition. Only Disadvantage for me is the weight im comparison to a 1.8

Can you do compare with normal f1.8

There is one in the video! Or are you looking for a compare between a 1.8 lens

f1.2 sounds like fun but my bank account disagrees 😅 I'll stick with my Sigma 24 - 70 f2.8 for now

That same lens is still my favorite lens

Title should’ve been: 'Is the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 for videographers who like bokeh blobs?' For a lens that screams low-light photography, you barely touched on its ability to transform dimly lit scenes into cinematic gold. Instead, we got a half-hearted nod to low light and then an endless ramble with boríng daylight shots. Next time, maybe cater to the people who actually shoot with their cameras after sunset. You know, the ones the f/1.2 aperture is ACTUALLY made for?

Thanks man I think you're right, in retrospect the main talking points of this video did miss the mark for what I really needed to investigate for this lens.
