I've played "base game only" for over 2 years and never got bored! Still had stuff to explore and try there, THAT shows quality of the game 👏

I played base game for 5 years straight from 2012 to 2017. I never got bored. I found out about EPs in 2017😭😭

ugh yes I love supernatural as well! it was one of the first few expansions I had. very excited to break it out for spooky season >:)

Yesssss I LOVED this one as a kid. Also pets is a must for me, can’t imagine playing without this pack even though I don’t always have pets in my family. And gameplay-wise I absolutely love playing in Islo Paradiso so yeah this pack is also a fav

i played the unpatched base game non as a kid stop since 2011 till 2013 because we finally got a strong enough internet connection in the computer room and ngl my mind was blown when i started seeing shit like basements, curved pools and half walls and the sims 3 store!!! before that i was making do with the extra clothes from the unlock outfits on cheat and 😭 i was suffering and my sims had no drip. I eventually got some expansion packs for christmas after asking for them for years lol. i got seasons and ambitions. then in they gave out town life stuff for free randomly once so i got that too. all i cared about was more clothes and hair for my sims lol.

Nothing can match the feeling I experienced as a kid playing with the sims 3. My favourite of the series!! Sims 2 was also great, but the sims 3 holds a special place in my heart ❤

I love the sims 3. I'm a base game player too. Literally just got done from a 4 hour session 😭As AEV said: "If we get a sims 5 it better be sims 3 with better graphics and flexible CC"

Supernatural is my favourite expansion pack, even though I hate Twilight, can you believe it? But I love 19th century architecture, I love Dracula, the Wolf Man, and all kinds of gothic horror, and I also just love vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and spooky things in general (just not Twilight).

Since I was a little kid I’ve always been a Simmer. My computer died last year and wouldn’t hold a charge. So I compromised on buying a PlayStation 3 to buy my Sims games. It might not be the same thing (no expansion games with PS3 like the computer games) but at least it’s something. Sims games are always fun to me

As a kid i played the base game first for all of them, while I think Sims 2 is just a better game overall, Sims 3 definitely has the best base game in the series, you got an open world, cars and some other things that were never in 1 or 2 even with expansions. Interestingly despite it being the best base game I think it has the worst expansions (not counting 4 of course) because while a few are 10/10 the rest are just not. Especially the stuff packs, they're all 100% a waste of money. Sims 3 with Sims 2 style expansions might actually have been the better sims game but with all packs, its sims 2 all the way. It does make me a bit sad that I cant enjoy the packs as much, because it feels like wasted potential on most of them. Ambitions will always be the goat though.

I also had that bundle, but I was a bit of a dumbass who only used the clothing and the furniture. I never used the town or the vampire feature (i think that came with late night?)
