I'm wearing this very watch right now. The SLA077. Really like it. I've been waiting for a model like for my 7" wrist and overall it does not disappoint. I will say if anyone is interested in this , or any Seiko for that matter, if perfect alignment is pet peeve, amd we know how Seiko has notoriously been a out sich things, go into a Seiko AD and try them out and check for these things. I had to go through 3 to find the best one before purchasing it as there are still slight bezel and hand alignment issues, unfortunately. If i'm spending $3k, i'm making sure it's near flawless as can be. And, FYI, I dont think any video so far shows this, but, the sapphire on this model, and probably the black dial version too, has a cool noticeable inner domed bubble effect when viewed at an angle.

My favourite seiko release in a while and very unexpectedly reasonable pricing considering the movement. I'm definitely considering picking up the white dial when the customary seiko sale pricing kicks in with retailers here in the UK.

It’s funny. I was all into the white dial, but the more I look at the watch, that black dial just looks better. It also in black will probably wear a little smaller which to me the watch will benefit from. Also the bezel measures at 41.5mm which makes the watch physically look much smaller. I’ll be purchasing this soon.

The best thing about this range is that the markers are still properly deep filled with lume. Everything else they have now, they stamp out the marker through the back of the dial as one solid block, and then paint lume on *top* of the block leaving blobs of lume paint that look cheap and awful. I don't know who at Seiko thinks that's acceptable on watches that cost more than a few hundred, but they are very, very wrong.

Yep, a lot of microbrands do lume much better than Seiko these days. Sad but at least we have options

Eh, my SPB237 looks fine. I never was offended by the dial markers or lume. My SLA047 is on another level however.

Very Nice. I'm wearing my Manta Ray King Turtle SRPE39K on a blue tattooed Uncle Seiko strap. It's awesome. Why? I wear a strapped watch every three weeks while I have to get some medical treatments...it's easier to adjust a strap or swap to the other hand with all the IV drama going on. Anyways, I've still got the King Turtle on after this round because it's so enjoyable to wear.

Gone is the monobloc case, deep dial, thick marker and lume, ceramic bezel. The new marinemaster has lost it's charm, sbdx001, sbdx017 & sla021 will always be closer the heritage 6159-7000. So how is it that Seiko offer more for less?

The date wheel looks like it came from a parts tray of a salvaged and aged 1992 SKX. Also at 4:40 into the video, the second hand shakes like there was an earthquake rumbling underneath where the video was made. Wearing a G Shock DW 5600 with LED backlight.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

Male endlinks, stamped clasp, no screw pins on bracelet, no ceramic bezel, date at 4:30, although it has a GS movement, its not regulated at GS standards, price 3000 euros. Total disaster in my opinion, only thing good about this watch is the lume

You say the bezel is aligned but anyone with a functioning pair of eyes can clearly see it is clearly not. It's bad when it's on a $350 watch but at near $3,000, this is just getting ridiculous.

Don’t complain until you have the watch in hand. It’s crystal distortion / how you are holding the watch

At the 0:18, mark you can clearly see the lume pip is to the right of the 12 o' clock chapter ring and hour marker and the watch is facing straight on the camera. Distortion does not cause this. It is evident at the 2:22, 2:43, and most damningly at the 4:30 mark where you can clearly see the lume dot misaligned to the right. Seiko is notorious for misalignment and QC issues and it is absolutely evident here.

No monobloc case, smaller indices, the sapphire glass doesn't have all previous mm300 inner domed effect. Worst thing is it doesnt have ceramic bezel!

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from MAMACOO for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.
