Also the trend there is that every 2 or 3 years it goes either bellow or up form the 20X. So we just have to wait an other year an it will start to go down.

I love this kind of video. But I have 1 question for you, Jimmy. Can you do this again for the period of 2004 to 2014 ? The reason is that the interest rate was higher back then, I think. I'm no analyst, but I think when the interest is low, the ratio of the market is higher, and when the interest rate is high, the ratio of the market is lower. And yes, at the moment, the interest rate is higher along with higher ratio, but... are we just laging behind a bit as in the market is and will come down to more normal 15 to 17.5x ????

Very correct friend. Low interest rates require a loeer retrin dince the ridk free rate goes down as well as cheap money available for companies so faster future gorwrh.

If PE for s&p 500 now at 28.20 we need the price to come down for VOO to 367$ which is 30%? Does this mean I will wait for another Great Depression?

the problem is that the GAAP rules are crazily ineffective for the modern economy which is based more and more online. Investments are portrayed as costs which screws with the old school ratio's. As more and more of the economy will go online the less effective the market P/E ratio will be to see if the market is cheap or overvalued.

This is a very controversial and subjective topic. As value investors we try to grab our long-term positions at a discount. In this well informed market we are unbale to grab stocks with a very good growth horizon at a discount price. If you had followed Warren's and Charlie's story related to buying Cees's candy you should be always prepared to pay a reasonable price if you are reasonably sure of the future cash flows of the target company. If you wait to buy a value stocks at 15 , 17 multiples it would be very tough. For an example if you want grab MSFT at 17 multiples it would never happen even if we are going to have a massive crash. Therefore 20 to 25 multiples would be a realistic approach.

Good answer! What do you have MSFT currently valued at? Been looking to buy back in, sold at the 424 a couple.of months ago and it has clrealy been the correct choice.

I mostly fear another lost decade happening at some point. Like from 2000 to 2012. Im a long term investor but at the same time i dont want to wait until im old for an investment to pay off. If i had that mentality i might as well work until im 70.

Acquiring a stock might appear simple, yet identifying the right stock without a reliable strategy can pose significant challenges. I've been focused on growing my $210K portfolio, but the key hurdle lies in the absence of well-defined entry and exit strategies. Any insights you could share on this topic would be highly valued.

Despite employing sound strategies and selecting suitable assets, investment outcomes can vary among investors. Acknowledging the pivotal role of experience in investment triumph is essential. I personally grasped this importance and sought counsel from Desiree Ruth Hoffman, leading to substantial growth in my account, nearing a million. By tactically withdrawing profits prior to the market correction, I am now capitalizing on buying opportunities once more.
