Hay Jimmy. Great video, I think there are 2 other elements that are influencing the markets. The first is sentiment, which has been very high, this puts too many on one side of the boat at the seasonally bad time for stocks of September/October, couple this with the 2nd which is the US. election only 2 months away, the markets doesn’t like uncertainty around elections.

If housing is vey expensive, it means a big chunk of finance for those actually buying houses is going to buy it, instead of consumption = very bad for economy.

Not many bargains at all time highs for quality companies, I think waiting a bit is better unless ~30PE for sp500 is reasonable.

cutting interest rates does not make a change immediately, that's why people wanted to cut in July cause it takes time for the fed cuts to make a difference

"Falling interest rates has historically been a good sign for for the stock market" Are you sure? In the previous cycle, rates topped in 08/2019 and the market topped just a few months later, in 02/2020. Then it crashed. OK, but that was the pandemic, so let's look before that. Fed started cutting in 08/2007 and the market peaked in 10/2007 and kept declining all the way until 02/2009. In the cycle before that, the Fed started cutting in 01/2001, but the market has already been falling since 09/2000. It didn't stop falling until 09/2002.
