Is the Tokyo Disney Vacation Package Worth It?

We bought a Vacation Package for our upcoming trip. We bought the cheapest one: Fantasy Springs, Enjoy Attractions, 3 days. And we got it for the Toy Story Hotel. Months later, we were able to add a night at the beginning of our package so that we would get Happy Entry to DL the next morning when our Vacation Package started. Yes, the Vacation Package was pricey and really not a good value, especially after I saw the included goods you got with your Vacation Package! But, like you say, it will make our life easier with the include Fantasy Springs Passport and the other included Premiere Accesses. That will also free us up to get other Premiere Accesses to add to the enjoyment of our first trip. And yes, I'm bummed that we won't get Happy Entry for our 2 Disney Sea days, even though we have a Vacation Package! That is such an easy perk!

My understanding is that happy entry into Disneysea is available for those staying at Fantasy Seas Hotel and the Miracosta, making those reservations even more difficult to get now.

Yes I should have specified that it works for that hotel only because of the entrance. I’m sure this will change over time. It’s very challenging to reserve the Fantasy Springs Hotel

Just wanted to mention that it is an option to reserve the fantasy springs restaurants as part of the vacation package for the dining option. How was your experiencing with obtaining mobile orders for those new quick service locations?

Just updated my description! Dining in FS wasn’t available in my package when I booked, unfortunately. Glad to see there’s the option now, thanks! It took us two days to dine at all three restaurants because mobile orders booked up pretty quickly. I talk about this more in my Fantasy Springs video and review everything.

Good to know, I’ll be heading there soon for a vacation package. In case anyone is curious, the vacation package with extras allows for one dining reservation on the day of the fantasy springs ticket that includes choice of lunch or dinner at royal banquet of Arendelle, Snuggly Duckling, or Lookout Cookout. Also it lets you book the Fantasy Springs Restaurant for lunch or dinner that is normally exclusive to the hotel guests.

There’s an option that says no dining at the top when they ask you to select a restaurant.

Looks like new packages for April 2025 no longer have the Fantasy Springs Magic option. :( If I have to choose between a 3-Day attractions package or a 2-day unlimited attractions package, which would you recommend?

I saw they end in March 2025 now! Personally, it would depend on the price difference. If it’s not too much more, I would go with the unlimited. But if it’s quite a big difference, the 3-day may be a better bet. Personally, I wouldn’t have needed unlimited for my trip as 3 days was enough to do almost everything we wanted.

in the morning when you arrive at the hotel and check in, where do you put your luggage? your room isn't ready yet, right?

You can check it in with the bell services. Just tell them when you’re checking in that you’d like your bags held. I believe they brought the bags into the room for us.

This is great to know I can remove a restaurant. I was so confused booking, I just selected whatever and am not thrilled with my Blue Bayou selection after looking at reviews on it.

If you get the vacation package your saying on our day at fantasy spring you automatically get priority access to the rides except tinker bell? Is priority access free or extra on top of the vacation package?

There’s a specific package that includes “Fantasy Springs Magic” so if you book that one you automatically get Disney Priority Access to Fantasy Springs attractions except for Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies. They scanned my park ticket in the app and that got us access, unlimited for the 3 rides. So we rode them each 3 times that day for “free”

The check-out time is at 12pm, how did you handle the check-out process with all the luggage for the last day while still at the park the whole day?

I added an extra day on a separate reservation. So our checkout was the day after and we didn’t have a park day. Bell services should be available to store your luggage if you’re checking out on a park day.

So for 1 night, 2 day pass is it like this: Day 1: Drop off luggage at bell hop bc the room isn’t ready yet, then head to the park to line up before it opens with no happy entry on the first day? I guess 1 night doesn’t make sense. Day 2: Happy entry but need to check out at 12pm so you need to have at least 2 night stay like you did? Seems a bit taxing to worry about hotel checkin and out when you’re at the parks.

It’s prob between $1700-$2000 for at least 2 ppl and it all depends on what you choose as your options for attractions and restaurants as well as the hotel. They give you a calculation total after you select every option.

Personally, I think 3 days is ideal. That’s how many I did and it was amazing. I did DisneySea twice and Disneyland once. I think that’s the way to go.

I checked the website and got a little confused. I was planning to get the 2-day package, with day 1 for Tokyo Disneyland and Day 2 for Tokyo Disney Sea. If I place that it'll be for 2 people, does that mean that I get 2 sets of tickets for each ride that I choose?

They drop at 11am Tokyo time, 4 months before your day of visit! Some of the more popular packages go super quick and there may be a queue to get in.

Looks like the vacation package no longer offers unlimited priority access at fantasy springs! you have to book it as part of your 'allocated passes'

You get the package when you check into the hotel. So we got there early, checked in, and dropped off our bags with bell services. They gave us keys that would be active that afternoon. They placed our bags in our hotel room so when it was ready, we just came back from the park and everything was set. Super easy! We got to the hotel at like 7am and then headed to the park after we checked in.

The unlimited packages were so so expensive. I couldn’t see how we would be able to do enough to make the cost worth it. I waited for a while and was able to snag a package and was like nope. Pass.

Tbh I don’t think most people need the unlimited. It’s such a cool idea but I still got on everything that I wanted without it
