The sad thing is they have a massive QA department. They literally just don't understand how the game is supposed to work. They have a bunch of kids with no experience in programming or racing coming straight out of college making these garbage games. Its incredibly lazy. But its fairly common in the big game dev companies. Mu BiL has been a programmer for about 20 years, he's a big wig at Bethesda now, but the things he's explained to me over the years about how lazy these game companies are now is really disturbing.

it's EA. they copy paste games with 1 new 'major' feature, bringing all past bugs to their current game and even bugs they have patched in their last games return. F1 really need another license holder. iracing, ac, literally anything that's an actual simulator rather than an arcade. F1 isn't even a simcade at this point.

It was 2019 where vettel moved from p20 to p2 at his home GP lewis went to the pids because he lost his Front Wing because of aqua planing at second last corner and then he fully cutted the box entry. The only thing that saved him from a penalty is because if he would continue his driving he would get a black and orange flag for pit for repairs if he looses some body work.

There’s a major bug with the track in that spot. If you use too much of that outside curb, the bump will randomly just shoot your car off the track. I’ve had the exact same thing happen to me a couple times.

Jarno im curious to your thoughts on this. But why does f1 still only reward top 10 drivers. I understand in the past it was more a competition of cars but now more than ever it’s more the driver than the car that impacts performance. Especially in sim racing. If points were expanded to all positions expect p20 get points, I believe it would make racing cleaner as instead of risking it to get into p10 or better, now finishing a race is much more important to get points. (Think Mario cart rules except no points for DNF)
