In this video I go over 13 clear criteria to recognize a cult. Does the Twelve Tribes meet any of them? Watch to find out!!

Here are a couple of valuable products I have found since leaving the Twelve Tribes that I want to show you...maybe you'd find them valuable to you and your family!
Juice Plus! This is a great nutritional product that myself and kids have been using for years. It's made with fresh and real foods and turned into a capsule or gummy so you can have more confidence getting the nutrition your body needs! Here are a couple of quick videos...

And... Shoes!! Xero shoes are my most favorite. They are "barefoot" shoes, and have a durable but thin sole, and slightly wider footbed for maximum comfort and connectedness. Check em out! You might love em as much as I do!

Ever since I've seen this list on KZbin of the 10 most terrifying cults it drew my curiosity, especially when I heard that there is slave child labor in the Yellow Deli. Thank you and you are a beautiful being!!!

Kids definitely work there. No toys at all. But they are also very connected to their parents so I wouldn't personally call it slave labor. Thanks bro🙏🏽

Tara Treks brought me here. Lived with the tribe in southern California, briefly. Real emotional roller-coaster of an experience. A father and son were sent away shortly before I left. It was very sad. I'll have to watch the rest of your videos. Thank you for making them. I find it to be a difficult thing to talk about. A lot of mixed emotions

Thank you. My experience was way back in the early 2000s, and I wasn't there very long, but it's something I still wrestle with trying to understand. So much of it looked and felt so right, but the brain in my gut kept telling me, "this is wrong." And then seeing this poor, confused teenager(who was second generation, and knew no other life), and his father get sent away(under somewhat bizarre circumstances.)That was it for me, but then they used all the children to try to get me to stay....I'm sure it was much more difficult for you. Anyway, thanks again for your time and effort. Be well

I'm fascinated by the videos I've seen of weddings there. Does everyone wear the same dress? Do they get to pick the flower crown?
@jillybeenz8699
@jillybeenz8699 Жыл бұрын
all the brides wear the same dress. The wedding is a story of the end times. I don't know about the flower crowns. There is barely any choice there overall, so chances are good they don't get to pick 😕. The brides do pick the song they dance tho!

I was in the 12 tribes a couple of years and the shepherds demonized me and sent me away after I repented and gave up everything despite Luke 17 verse 4. And they also separated me from my wife, now if that's not a cult tell what is.

@@evandelozier1851 You have misinformation. The highest price they were asking was $3m. It went as low as $1.125m, before it was taken off the market. Unless they have made extreme repairs, there is no way they would be asking even more than the original $3m price

here is a very good definition of cult that applies to the Twelve Tribes Communities (from ICSA): Cult (totalist type): A group or movement exhibiting a great or excessive devotion or dedication to some person, idea, or thing and employing unethically manipulative techniques of persuasion and control (e.g., isolation from former friends and family, debilitation, use of special methods to heighten suggestibility and subservience, powerful group pressures, information management, suspension of individuality or critical judgment, promotion of total dependency on the group and fear of leaving it…), designed to advance the goals of the group’s leaders, to the actual or possible detriment of members, their families, or the community. (West & Langone, 1986, pp. 119-120)

I've been involved in many differetn religious groups throughout my life, and the Twelve Tribes was definitely the most controlling. People who have not lived in a high control communal religious group cannot even imagine what it is like to have every aspect of their life controlled from sunrise to sunset.

@@jillybeenz8699 Hey Jilly, thanks for your channel. I know some of this info is hard to talk about for sure! I'm so glad you are out of there. On my channel I began exposing TT a while ago. I even interviewed a man who was about to move his family into it and had no misgivings about giving over control to them. It was a very interesting situation and troubling as well. Would you be willing to answer some questions or even be a guest on my channel?

As a Evangelical, some of those checkmarks don’t make a group a cult. The beliefs come straight of the Bible. If someone disagrees with you thy can show you what the Bible says. It’s ok to disagree on secondary issues. Jesus is the way the truth the life. It’s not a denominational or church that saves. It’s Jesus Alone that saves. Salvation is by Faith Alone through Grace Grace through Christ Alone. Swearing isn’t edifying to the Body of Christ. We are waiting for the Rapture of the Church. Unless a friend or family wants nothing to do with you, be a blessing to them. We are in the world but out of the world. Evangelicalsm is far from perfect but the best thing about it is it’s centered around having a relationship with Jesus.

You said previously that you came away with good things/experiences. It just was not for you. Yet you keep trying to justify your leaving doing the blame game. If you convert to a religion you think like them and adopt all aspects of the faith. Stop trying to justify your life. Either go back or move on. You would have to obey the rules if catholic, Buddhist, jewish etc. Technically all religions can be classified as cults. If you dont feel guilty for leaving then find another topic that benefits mankind. Talk about that.
