Is the Umarex Canex Co2 air rifle a good buy?

I just returned one to TSC. Tractor Supply had discounted them to $41.99. I brought it home. Put in a couple of canisters with a drop of 100% silicone oil on the tip of each. Put the gun down gently on the table while I loaded the magazines. A minute or two later there was a sudden burst and all the CO2 was rushing out.

I was very impressed for a Co2. I will probably do a better accuracy video. This one was a long video. I think I covered it pretty well. It’s a really fun piece. Like I said it’s very hard for me to resist popping them off rapidly. The trigger is wild smooth and there is no stage or break feeling. The rotary mag is smooth and it doesn’t have a gear feeling or grittiness at all.

I just picked one up for the $40 at TSC. It sort of works, but not really. I'm lucky to get a shot or two out of it. Maybe the cold weather.

@@stw9495 I mean, for a $60msrp rifle can’t expect a lot more. They hit TSC just in time for Christmas near me. Can’t be a coincidence. Still I’d trade “800fps” for decent reliability any day

@@stw9495 gonna pass for now. Bought the Barra revolver and gamo semi auto pistol for 35 and 20 respectively. Then Meijer had a ridiculous 75% off sale but I was late so all I got was a crossman pfm16 for $18 but I’m not complaining

I’m about to get one tommrow but I hear they have a problem with the co2 not working sometimes but I think I’m gonna take a chance for 41 at my tsc the 10 shot mags and semi auto really interest me

Considering the bad reviews I’ve seen and the cost of co2 I’d have to say it’s a no for me. Hopefully you don’t have any issues with it. Definitely a fair deal at 40$ Especially if it’s accurate with the Cphp’s. Good luck 👍🏻

Even if I had $40 to $60 to burn I wouldn't buy one, quality of components are very poor, gas seals blow out, rubbishy toy..... If you don't expect much you won't be dissapointed
