I think its kinda bullshit and doesnt do a whole lot even if you got it from the scoreboard the poison resistance only works when your in the PA and for carryweight we have the excavator wich also just looks better union PA is also BUTT UGLY ... there really is no reason to get it now if your a new.player the grind to get one is unreal and would take you about 1,5 years so how about just screw the pitt alltogether they can keep their bullshit if the grind is like this i really dont care

The thing I saw was it is useful against toxic enemies. I missed out getting it easy via season 10. I joined during middle of nuka world.

@@Fargassier i could very easily see myself having a set I would use religiously as I don't have a full t-65 yet. Loved the carry weight of excavator armor and honestly wish I could get close to that without fearing toxic mutations .

Well the great thing like we said in the video Funky Duds does just that 🤘 You can have the carry weight and the poison resist. You just need to get that legendary perk card leveled up 🤘 One day I will have a great T-65 PA to be super tanky but until then I will be in Excavator or Union (once it is fully rolled)

Well said. Extremely good over view and information for newer players. From overeater, legendary perk options, etc. Only thing I could add would be. If you wanted to upgrade excavator to a more tanky set. With minimal grind, then the hellcat is an option. As you said the poison resistance is nice on union. As is the carry weight, both make it versatile one stop set. However at the price and inability for plans to drop atm. Its more a luxury. Excavator with funky dudes nets you the same.

@Fargassier no thank you again xD. I think it would help bring more expeditions back. I burned myself out on them. Due to another issue with the loot pool. That unless it's an 85 stamp plan, you only have a very small chance of having one drop on the weekly for free. So once I got my main character done I stopped running them. I brought some friends over from Elderscrolls online. They play when the grind in that game becomes to much. So the expeditions are off putting to them to say the least. Luckily most come over during scoreboard and managed to pick plans up. Here's hoping in the future they adjust the plans. Plus with other expeditions planned it becomes a joy to mix up the content. I have some friends trying to get me to try out ESO but with so many games coming out I don't think I can do it. @Fargassier I believe so. I'm not sure if some plans are bugged and can't drop. Yet get counted as dropping. Or if its just a very low chance, and still gets counted as having dropped for the week even if it hasn't. I wrote many tickets to ask. Then finally gave up when the final reply was along the lines of. *we're sorry you're having bad luck, try harder.* So yeah, in future. Its probably best to by the expensive stuff with stamps and farm the cheap ones with weekly reward. ESO is fun but I only hop on to help friends now. I prefer 76 for community and ease of casual gaming xD

As a PA user with over 3K hrs in 76 & who has collected & used all of the end game sets its my opinion that the best suit is the Hellcat. The ballistic damage reduction is a must when you like to be up front & center of a firefight.

The Hellcat is wonderful in my opinion as well. Before Season 10 I was looking at potential getting out of PA but when they introduced the Union PA I reconsidered that 😂

Hey I doubt this’ll reach you but I’m trying to make an endgame power armour set the armour Im looking for is t-65(overeaters + reduced food consumption and reduced food carry weight or dog resist while moving{or standing still I can’t decide}) if you think there’s a better armour roll or that hellcat is genuinely more useful in general gameplay I’d love some help. I was under the impression the hellcat damage reduction was only useful against armour piercing and that the better stats t-65 had was worth it

Fast forward December 2022 and the pieces are 120 stamps and you can easily solo showman pier well within time limit for 20 stamps per run. No battery charging, no limit to grind. Getting more than a few examples of ALL the other power armor sets was tons easier than getting Union. And I kinda feel bad for people that busted humps for the changes before price change. Current bug with Union… it will drop as rewards occasionally from legendary but can not be picked up, not even by those with that specific piece unlocked.

Good points. Incredible knowledge on playing Fallout 76. Typically the lore of Fallout is important. But, there is now apparently even lore in playing Fallout, and lore in dealing with options of Fallout environments, and lore of dealing with certain restrictions of the universal influencers (i.e. developers and glitches).

I play fallout 76 via the cloud due to no space and i was not sure if this is due to the cloud version or what but the union power armor is not showing up in Giuseppe's shop did they remove the armor and the auto axe or do you have to farm the plans for them from the pitt ?

Someone said they removed it from the shop there at the refuge for right now with the bug of people learning it and not being able to craft it since the update.

Its actually phenomenal. I got it from the season but was never a fan of non tradable items. However i ended up with hundreds of modules on all my characters so i crafted an overeaters set on 2 characters. Coming from sentinel bolstering excavator its been quite the upgrade. When legendary pa came out i tested excavator vs t65 and there was barely any diff when built properly at low hp. Nowadays it seems things changed because i tend to take way more damage. In short yes its nice to have.

I swap between x01 OE wwr for heavy and T65 van for commando. I have union from scoreboard but trying to get a good roll on all pieces. T65 is the tank of PA sets.

I got it on the Scoreboard, and since i dont do the expeditions i feel pretty fortunate in that respect. i'm not convinced its best for MY BUILD, personally.. yet. Still yes i agree that it shld be in the pool rewards; the Stamp system is just not cool. Tx for the vid ;)

Ridiculous cost. If the price was divided by 5 it would be pricey but not ridiculous. I still use Raider or T-45 since I have full Overeater sets for them.

You know I would be fine with them being 200-250 stamps per piece as long as they were also added to the loot pool for rewards in the weekly plan. Think about how many folks would be grinding Expeditions again.

Raider and t45 are a good choice for an overeater set. I dropped some pieces for a friend rill he farmed his own for that reason. Plus since they are common drops. It's easy to get ap refresh on them too.

Once I forgot to switch from my CHA build for vendors and vent to Earl. With vampire +40% auto axe ofcourse. I noticed that I dont run my proper PA build when I returned to CAMP to stash loot xD xD xD

I started playing in January. Right at the end of season 11. No season 10 for me. Hearing that the union PA pieces are not on the loot pool is pretty much devastating for me. Guess i wont bother with expeditions any more💀

I would still run the expeditions personally because you can earn all the plans for the mods for the Union PA and I am sure they will be changing the loot pool/cost in the future. When I have no idea though.

I unlocked Union on the scoreboard. I'm currently using a full set of Overeaters. There is no way that I would grind the Pitt to unlock that armor. IMO the Pitt is a boring grind.

I have 3 of the 5 pieces with my roll of choice but OE is my favorite prefix of them all for sure. I don't think I would grind for it either honestly if I didn't earn them in Season 10.

@@Fargassier I got lucky with the Union PA. I rolled Overeaters pretty quickly on all of the pieces. I haven't been that lucky with my Secret Service armor. I've been stuck with 3 of 5 on my SS for a long time.

T-65 if you want straight numbers but no set bonus (cheapest bullion set to acquire if using Minerva), Union if you want combat utility at the cost of the longest grind, hellcat is free and boasts 12% projectile resistance (most common form of damage) but the mods are insanely expensive, and excavator for sheer ease of acquisition and general utility at the cost of lowest numbers.

@@FargassierI do agree that once you figure in cost of diminishing returns in damage resistance, the legendary effects and set bonus are far more important factors in overall performance. As for the T45, T51B, and T60, it really boils down to aesthetics. I’ll round off by saying that there really is no bad set of power armor, and it the best set is determined by what you want out of it

👍I have a full set of hellcat over eaters God rolled, run a bloodied build plus a herbivore food build I take no damage at all,poison not a problem at all,food magazines cover it,not many times do you need poison resistance

I just wished more people ran Expeditions. Whenever I start it I often have to solo it. Like who doesn’t want to join a +500 player in Expeditions? The stamps are stupid, but five legendaries in under 20 minutes? I’m surprised there’s not one going constantly, especially once you learn the steel ingots route outside the foundry. However, the mini games to get fuel are dumb, and sometimes getting items for the survival guide can mix me up adding too much time to the overall Expedition. And does anybody run the non-Union Dues one, whatever it’s called (does anybody know?)

I still try to run them a lot because of the stamps and legendary items. I mean you never know if you are going to pull something really good from there. If you know the route it is easy like you say to do in under 20 minutes. I only know it is From Ashes To Fire, because I helped two new players run their first Expedition the other night. I told them no one does the other one but you should at least once. They understood once we were done.

A lot of power armor can be found around the wasteland. There are quest to do to get the special ones like the Excavator set.

after hours of grind, my helmet and torso plans just disappeared when i clicked on them to activate, i looked everywhere. gone and cant even get another one from the trader. all i have is legs and arms not sure what to do next. this game has lots of very unique bugs that never get a fix. only the fun bugs get fix quickly. simply trolling i think.

As I have read online you can't acquire the Power Armor pieces or the Auto Axe in the weekly reward loot pool from The Pitt. Hopefully they will fix that as you should be able too honestly.

I think it's a great set and would be worth the grind if the cost was in the range of 80-120 stamps per piece. 800 stamps per piece is just stupid. It works as a deterrent to people doing expeditions instead of an incentive.

I mean really if they added them to the weekly loot pool for plan reward in the Expedition and then dropped the prices down to even 200-250 there would be so many people grinding expeditions each day. That would be glorious 🤘 I think I have (6) rewards from the Expedition list but haven't had a free plan drop for (5) weeks now. The only things I am missing at this point are the camp/apparel items. I am super excited for the new lights and such for the Union PA though.

Adding to the loot pool would be good as well. I have no clue what the thought process was for 800 stamps per piece. I would've just looked at something like the grind for T-65 and set equivalent prices with an estimated gold to stamps conversion.

Yeahhhh nahh, I’m getting my auto axe 😂and I’m getting my t65 with carry weight mods for the legs but hopefully it’s in the loot pool to drop in future events other then that pretty cool 👍🏻, or lower the prices of the union power armor pieces to the same prices as the t65 set pieces so there’s a equal amount of grinding cause even the auto axe is expensive you know and possibly lower that aswell too but that’s pretty much a balanced way to go with it if they can but fingers crossed

@@Fargassier haha your heckin right it is thats why i love it 😂 i have a saying the bigger the auto axe the bigger the scorch queen and thats how its always gotta be , and thank you man hell yeah finishing up events left and right including dailies and expeditions trying to collect all the stamps and gold i can , and foreals hopefully bethesda hears are responses on the prices and loot pool ideas i just hope they realize we are willing to grind for 300 to 600 coins for the camden mascot park outfit with those dailies only giving you 3 coins per mission per day just for those rewards but even still its a obtrusive amount of time for a clothing set i might just wear for a week and change out after im bored or see someone else matching me but none the less its still a grind just less pricer and still not all people have the outifit cause it is a grind , but they want us to work for months for 10 stamps (max per day) 70 per week for a stinking power armor that can only be earned from expeditons stamps which has each piece labeled for 800 stamps each , we can only do once a day and its only 3 mission, its the same as the camden park dailies pretty much just the power armor costs more aswell and when i finally have that power armor that may or may not be the meta in the next year or 2 you know but hey just being positive and doing the grinds just trying to keep my sanity alive aswell lol.

The Auto Axe is amazing for sure but dang that stamp amount is crazy as well. Honestly between that and the chainsaw I find myself using the chainsaw more than the Auto Axe just because of the size. I really do enjoy the Auto Axe though for those nostalgia feels 🤘 Maybe they will add the pieces into the loot pool. I know a lot of folks have talked about it but I def. wanted to put my opinion out there after seeing the cost of things.

@@Fargassier I totally understand. I got the plan for a mod to the auto axe the other day from my Expedition and had to be like “welp, I’ll likely never use it”. I love the expeditions, but 10 stamps a day at most is such a grind.

You can get it for free if you buy 1 star pa with scripts there's a chance you can get it i almost have a full set without being in season 10 or with the plans the only piece you cant get is the helmet saves alot of time

It might be late but still. Isn't the excavator just better? The numbers in this game are not that important and the bonus is JUST better. 100 vs 75. Plus exc is better for your sanity (no grinding) and I think everyone are gonna agree on this one 😆

So the prices have come down a lot at least in the PTS (120 stamps per piece and 300 stamps for the jetpack) I think they are both great. I like the Union over the Excavator for later game because of the Poison resist but I love wearing the Excavator for the carry weight bonus since I am a full health build and poison doesn't really bother me. 🤘

No it isn't worth it at all. Spend an hour doing a mission that has a stupid chance of failing at the very end of not protecting all the people therefore you won't obtain a piece of Union armor plan as a reward. Waste of fucking time! Now do it 100 more times. No thanks! Every time I've done Expeditions it just results in failure of not getting a perfect rank so you don't get shit. Literally no incentive to keep trying.

You can't acquire the Union PA Piece as a reward from this Expedition. You can acquire some of the others like helmet lights and such but you have to save up stamps for the ability to buy one of the Union PA pieces. Unless that changed recently in which case I would welcome people being able to get them as a reward. Are you trying to do it solo or with a team?

Well remember you can put paints on the PA set like the others so you can make it look how you would like it too. Plus, the weight is on top of the calibrated legs like how the Excavator is. I still love the Union but also love my other PA sets. I think a lot of folks have multiple sets of PA and use them in situational settings. That is what I do with my sets. Hopefully they will give everyone a way to get the full set in the future without the crazy grind.
