😊Although I have not suffered from post-partum, the warm support that Nia received from Danny and the rest of the ladies was phenomenal. This is a perfect example of a real reality storyline, and just shows how the Valley is winning an audience over over-produced VPR. And thank you, Jolene, for discussing this topic tonight.

Jax is definitely in the devaluation stage of his abuse cycle. Also, something was overlooked from that episode when Brittany was throwing that party; Jax told her to do something and Brittany responded saying she had done everything and he hadn’t done anything. This is very typical in relationships with narcissists, the victim runs themselves ragged doing pretty much everything while the narc does nothing or close to nothing while complaining.

In the U.K. we say Post Natal Depression & a young mum in my home town dropped her 2 year old & baby off with her mum & drove to a high local beauty spot & threw herself off because of this … yes it’s very serious - it was hard to hear this man speak to her this way!!! 😮

Hey Jolene! The first month or two it’s very normal to have these feelings and they call it the “baby blues” bc it’s technically not full blown PPD until it’s been going on for a while. I don’t remember the time frame (even though I just went through this, lol) but my doc did say that if it continues for another week or two then we should talk about meds and therapy. That’s why they call it 2 different things. That said, it seems like Nia is experiencing PPD or PPA and could benefit from a doctor!

So the girls are clearly confusing being 'an empath' and being 'empathetic' as the same meaning. Empaths can FEEL eveyones energy and know how they feel - but it doesn't mean they are overly empathetic towards others feelings - they just know them haha Lots are - but not really Kirsten.

I nannied for a kid who barely spoke before he was 5 and everyone wanted the parents to put him in speech therapy and I’m so glad they never did (mom was a therapist). He came into his own perfectly fine but you really shouldn’t be all that concerned before 5 with speech stuff

Not sure if this has already been said, but I just binge watched House of Villains on Hayu, & in the final episode when the whole cast was back again, Jax revealed that it was lucky he was the first one eliminated because Brittany had just been hospitalized for a small STROKE! This is the only time I’ve heard about this … so maybe that’s why her mouth seems ‘offset’?? it does seem to droop a little on the left side.

Hi! Replay crew here! Have been watching The Valley but am not a fan. At all! Do appreciate your recaps tho as always. This show is trying too hard to make their stories interesting & it's just not doing it for me. Jessie is an ass & a villain (yawn) because of course that's part of the narrative of all these shows. Am sick of Jax & Brandy. They really haven't grown into adulthood yet. They are just older versions of themselves on VPR. And it's hard to watch Brittney & her titties turn into a Mom with a full blown alcohol problem. I think she needs professional intervention. It's hard to watch. So watching the show is like watching a train wreck. You can't turn away, but you hate seeing it.
