Oh my gosh I caught David’s lie in the moment!!! I was confused that David would mis-remember a fact like that and it never occurred to me that David was lying intentionally for the game haha but I did say to myself that I didn’t think that was right.

4:20 As a Survivor fan, that was an easy lie to catch from David lol I’m only at that point so I haven’t seen if the lie is caught but I thought it was funny. I actually wondered for a second if David somehow mixed up season names or misspoke and then I remembered the game lmao.

@@thetraidarpodcastI suspect that’s what they do. Because also they need to switch out the jars for each question or else someone might accidentally guess a right answer for a different question and the jar would have gold dust in it even though it’s wrong for that particular riddle.

So…I had to play catch up with this season and used my day off today to watch all five! 😂 I had no plans to watch the US season, as not too big on the ‘celeb’ element but hey…I need my fix. I am enjoying it so far, although I have little clue who most these people are. Was disappointed to see Bob the Drag Queen out so early as think he was playing an okay game. Reference this episode, I am not sure Danielle is playing a good game trying to get this one Traitor out to then recruit someone else to get the other Traitor out! Makes no sense. I think she could work with the Traitor she has got already to get Rob out as he is ruthless. Anyhow, interesting to see how it all plays out and glad to still be listening to the show!

I don’t understand why Danielle thinks she needs to get Carolyn out to try to then take out Rob when there are already people openly suspecting him and even calling him out at the table. Just fan those flames, no need for a multi-stage plan!

Carolyn's reaction "let's get traitorous" is somewhat illuminating although Carson is a bit of a twat.

Danielle is one of the best traitors I've seen, and playing a good textbook game. Her downfall is going to be that she's playing with even more amazing traitors this season. Otherwise just peak gameplay - No suspicion on her, even despite all the errors Rob was able to extract from her with that Bob move, and even last round table despite all the errors she was not one of the names being floated by Ivar or anyone and has gotten 0 votes. - Extracted loyalty from her co traitor in Bob, that allowed her to take out a fire in Jeremy that could've gotten out of control. Just textbook gameplay, they target you, get them the f out, that is a trait of the most successful traitors. Sick of watching seasons where the people that are onto the traitors are kept around and they just hound and hound them and the fire gets bigger and bigger and snowballs till it's over for the traitors. - Great use of emotion and tactics to look like a faithful and seems many people booted were shocked with Danielle being a traitor. Again a lot of errors, I just don't think they were unforced, I think Rob drew them out with that big move taking out her ride and die and she just melted down. She's also unfortunate she's in the company of the best traitors, usually a move to get out a traitor would pay dividends but it's not going to here with how unsuspecting caro is.

Surely what she did in the mission wasn't unforced?? She didn't attempt to try to get a shield twice! Then started crying about it. I also do think people are on to her. Jeremy spotted it immediately and in Robyn's exit interview (they have these on KZbin - I'm guessing they're on Peacock somewhere too?), she also pointed out that Jeremy had been openly talking to others about Danielle being a Traitor.

@@thetraidarpodcast I think when you play against someone like Boston Rob who can strike fear into everyone, compounded by the Bob vote (her ride die) it completely disorientated her. So. I view that more credit to Rob then a problem with her game. Otherwise has not been probed even, despite these errors and Ivar whose like the guy presenting all pieces of info did not ever mentioned her and I don't think anyone has at the round table, going a quarter way unmentioned already puts you above at least half of the players in history, no?, But I will always ammend my assessment of the players based on what players say, Robyn iir didn't suspect Danielle from whaat I saw in the peacock reveals. I also know it's an edited show, so basd on the facts I don't see much on Danielle, besides the edit showing us that her downfall is coming, I also thought her keeping her enemies close with the Rob vote was genius and she even voted for Bob, many players would not be able to pull their trigger on their besty, but he was going regardless, so great finesse in the turret.
