Good work lads in sorting the problem! It's not the fixing that does be the problem usual, it's the finding it! Faults Don't happen they are caused!
@tommypayne19802 жыл бұрын
Maybe an elongated spacer plate would sort out those front mudguards for you with two sets of holes in them bottom holes attached to the loader and the other holes a bit higher on the plate to provide new mounting points for the mudguards. Telling Bro to lift with his legs not his back made me laugh abit.

Sitting in a caravan park 250klms east of Perth in glorious autumn sunshine watching a farmer put in a wheat crop with his quad track John Deere while enjoying watching hard working farmers changing wheels on loaders in longford 10.000 miles away. Nearly enough to make an old boy homesick. How is Uncle Eric keeping? I hope he is well.

Hi Phil, great stuff a world of experience and some head to stick at it fair play👍 Iv a question for you. Iv a 6180 i don't know what year it is but the circlip on the PTO shaft is popping out if I have the slurry tanker on or agitator. The clip seams to click back into place but can you shine any light what I can do repair or is it something serious? Great seeing these videos keep the good work up. Thanks.
@keithk12462 жыл бұрын
The groove in drive housing that holds the circlip can gets worn and the edges round slightly which can let the clip slip out. A new circlip with nice sharp edges might help but you might need that housing. Now all this is caused by not enough oil on the telescopic part on PTO shafts. When the drive is on the shaft it locks and when traveling over ground which has heights and hollow's the distance is changing and it can't move so pulls all out of tractor or front of pump. Same with pump when raising it , but bent tubing in shafts do the same! Grindings and marks on tubing are a tell tail sign and also the buttons on your drive shafts will have flat spots and stick in!
@slickymick2 жыл бұрын
Hi Keith K, thanks very mush for your helpful response. It happened 1st when I was agitating and the pump went dry so the pump started to vibrat and then clip came off and PTO stopped. I put clip back in and then about 6 hours later spreading slurry it came off again and continued to happen every hour or so. I will replace clip and let you know how it goes. Thanks very much for your help 👍
