Is The Village Center Actually Good? | 1v1 Ranked Boit (Isis) vs Kimo (Poseidon)

In my estimation, the village center is a timing attack player's dream. Put it in your base and go for the timing. Good luck trying this one out! I wonder how it works with other civs.

Boit, what is your graphic settings please? I sometimes feel overwhelmed with too much of smooth and nice efects. Do you play on highest possible setting?

Raising migdol cost would be so prohibitive if you’re not playing Isis. That’s 500 gold to age up plus 550 so 1050 gold just to access your units. We’d see a lot more barracks strats and Horus would come around more so maybe it would be cool

You can see his hotkeys in the top, left side. On 3 he has his tc and on 5 he has the priest

Eggy eco being equivalent to the other civs while having 0 cost on most of their buildings makes no sense. Agree that Midgols are far too cheap currently too relative to the other civs.

I am GM in sc2 for over 6years. There is so much stuff that need to be learnt since it’s a completely different game, i am only at 1500elo. You do pick up the game a lot faster than others, but no, not easily. It’s not just about the speed in this retold game.

I played SC2 for 6 months at launch and I think I was in masters. RTS is a pretty expansive genre and while fundamentals can translate often knowledge is the big dividing factor at the top level.
