Beautiful bike except for that nub under the top tube and the junction of the seat tube... WHY? Seems like an afterthought, surely they could have integrated that somehow, everyone else manages. Those thru axles are slick!

Beautyful bike. I don't like the amount of decal/logos that Wilier puts on their bikes, but they have tuned it down a bit. Price tag... o.O I don't really mind the seat post clamp; though it's true, it sticks out... Great video!

really nice but not flawless and you can get TCR Advanced for 1/10th of the price at just 1kg heavier. I think someone will give up and set some new price points because the diminishing returns are just ridiculous...

I bought mine a month ago having compared with Colnago v3rs. As i have boring black willier more people come and check out the colnago at the cafe but really for climbing, high speed stability and fast cornering the Willier wins. The colnago feels like it is unstable in gusty conditions. I opted for ultegra di2 and fulcrum racing zero wheels and a mid compact gearing with 32-11 cassette. It is fantastic!!

If the bike was otherwise ugly, you wouldn't notice that seatpost clamp. But with every other element being so elegantly understated, it really stands out. A shame. Still, if I had unlimited funds, I'd give it serious consideration!
@garybird86464 жыл бұрын
I'd struggle to warrant the extra 3k over an Orbea OMX with Dura Ace and a similar dropped stay look. Granted Wilier use a decent factory in the far East and the quality is good but you end up paying a hefty premium over a lot of other high end brands.

without a doubt the best looking bike available right now. The biggest problem with the seat clamp bulge is that once you've noticed it you can't stop noticing it! It's not *that* bad in the grand scheme, but you can't avoid it. Can't wait for the riding impressions.

I love your reviews David. They’re like a breathe of fresh air. It really shows how passionate you are about bikes....as we all are. So do I like the bike? YES! YES! & YES!!! This bike is just stunning and in my opinion looks even better in the “Chrome” Blue! As for the seat clamp I’ve heard others talking about it. I like it, I think it really fits. As you can tell I’m quite overwrought with it. I think one just might have to find it’s way into my garage. Only thing I can’t find is an actual weight? How heavy was the bike you’re demoing? And what size is it??

Keen to know how it compares to the new Émonda and tarmac sl7. Those American counterparts might not be AS pretty but they sure are clever 🧐

It is a stunning bike and love the satin paint job. In reality for us mere mortals the most important differentiating performance factor with modern bikes is the grin it outs on your face! If it makes you want to ride it hard you'll end up riding it faster anyway ☺️

Geometry looks a bit tame at first glance. If a person can afford 10k for a bike, they'd likely have a specific bike for faster multi sprint rides, and choose a sub800 for long / vertical.rides, or really longdays. I've yet to find a sub800 that can carve a 70 degree turn at 45 km/h no probs

Pretty? Sexy?.... seriously? Just another really expensive bike. It's probably a nice bike but let's not forget its not about the bike, Beryl Burton was breaking records most of us can only dream about in 1963 on a bike which would be a clunker by today's standards. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl_Burton

I don't really get the obsession on the looks of this bike. It's a pretty bike and I like this kind of look for a bike, but in it's department for me it doesn't stand out. I'm not a big fan of the lines. But also the ton of spacers and the handlebar bend down just doesn't look aestethic at all. The sheels are just boring black with no carbon pattern or tight little logo. The hoods are placed weird. The fuck is that big bottle cage doing on a bike that should look elegant? They missed out on so many chances to make the bike look stunning ..
@theobuzat90914 жыл бұрын
You know you can slam that stem right? You know that bottle cage is not "standard", when buying the bike you'll not get a bottle cage. The hoods placement is different for everyone, might not look great but if it fits you better....then why not do it. As for the wheels, they are from Fulcrum, so very nice wheels with no big markings (like ZIPP), if you dont like'em, just replace them. I personnaly think those wheels look awesome.
@YannickLB4 жыл бұрын
@@theobuzat9091 True to all that you said. But I would like to see the bike in it's fullest potential whenever it is featured in a video to make us want to buy it :p This just puts me off, and I cannot unsee it haha
@theobuzat90914 жыл бұрын
@@YannickLB yeah but you know it's like he just bought it and made a review about it, he threw a bottle cage on there just for the ride and as for the stem, well I don't know if it's his bike because if its a loaner from Willier then he cant touch that. But if bought the bike then yeah he could slam the steam IF AND ONLY IF its comfortable for him you see what I mean? A bike is not just aesthetic you know ^^ you need to be well positioned on it to do well 😅
