first thing i've noticed about this video : ) higher framerate and better quality :) Nick did You changed Your camera? :) So maybe a few new tutorials? ;)

I'm glad you noticed! Yes I put down some serious coin for a sony full-frame camera and a good lens. Quality is awesome but it stresses me out a bit, to have something so valuable yet so easy to drop! ;)

After watching and learning your videos inspin 4x4 and antispin 2x2 I was actually trying to do this a few days ago. This video couldn't have came at a better time lol. Also, is it possible to do these antispin fountains smoothly, while turning? Because you can turn with the 4x4 inspin

i was thinking the same, I just learned the 2x2 antispin the other day and feel as awkward as nick looks performing the 4x4 anti. I love how even the most experienced Poi artists have something to learn, and nick is the most humble dude,, its heart warming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sort of looks like you're just doing a 5-beat weave fountain
@playpoivideos7 жыл бұрын
It's 4 beats, the milled version of a 5-beat weave. The hands are moving in the opposite direction of the poi so it's antispin.

Nick...if YOU can't do this well, there's no way any of us can! haha

There are lots of moves I can't do well, especially the tech stuff that's come out in the last 5 years. I haven't been able to practice like I used to because of my shoulder, so I'm still mostly spinning era 2010 poi ;)

I'm sorry to hear of your shoulder...stay healthy, and feel better soon, brother! :)
