While it is not favourable to have metro trains ply in smaller cities and towns, it's a good idea to have the existing metro trains network connected to the neighbouring towns and cities. In Salem, Tamil Nadu, they have considered construction of metro buses as per the city's need. In between Dharwad and Hubballi, BRTS buses serve the purpose. I am sure that the Government will start considering on these lines

Golden metro line from Tughlakabad to Aerocity is under construction. I suggest that upcoming Vasant Kunj Metro Station should be interconnected on one side with rapid metro at Moulsari metro station and on the other side with Bhikaiji Cama metro station through Munirka Metro station. It would provide alternative metro connectivity of Gurgaon with South Delhi benefiting a large number of commuters.
