Another thing I want to point out to people, just because there’s an estimated 2.3 billion ounces still in the ground just in Mexico, does not mean in any way that silver is not rare. When you compare how much of any other common metal we are extracting the numbers are significantly higher. We mine more iron in one day then we have for all the gold we have ever mined in history and we mine more iron in 4-5 days then all of the silver we ever have in history.

It’s not cheap to get Silver out of the ground. I say this because I worked in gold mines in the Yukon. There’s silver there too but they’re not mining silver right now because it cost too much gas prices are high you have to use heavy equipment and that cost a lot of money so silver will go up because it’s needed they use it for electronics in electric cars

I have watched plenty of KZbin videos by popular silver "experts" who are predicting doom and gloom. I believe they do it mostly for clicks. Your video sheds some light on the reality of the silver supply.

As always, I tell people to do their home work. That said, all of this "doom and gloom" you mention is not so far fetched as there is some validity as to what is curretly happening and wht is coming in the most likely near future. As for me, I will continue to stack silver on a constant basis because what is coming is not looking so good : )

Not only "rate of extraction" but one also needs to take into account "cost of extraction". Some reserves might not be economical to mine at any particular price.

Yup. It's a small market so it doesn't take much to cause a short term supply disruption in silver. It happens a lot for short periods of time. It's normal these days.

Silver in the ground means nothing unless it can be economically mined. That is the bottleneck in supply.

Silver is undervalued when you compare how much there is of it to gold. We have more silver then gold yes but it’s not by a astronomical amount. There’s like 10-20 ounces of silver to 1 ounce of gold. The estimated amount of gold we have mined on earth is around 200,000 tons, and silver at around 1.5 million tons. Which is still pretty rare when you look at the numbers of tons for common metals like iron, nickel, zinc, aluminum, copper etc.

If there was a real shortage of silver, the government would not let you buy it and in some certain conditions they'll entice you to sell yours before outlawing it like gold.

Eventually Silver will be worth as much as it cost to mine and refine it into bullion. How much that is at this point is the question. I'm guessing the current spot price is much less then cost to produce it.

The percentage of the population who are active stackers…not the ones who just own a couple of ounces of it…is currently less than 5%. As things get worse with the economy and the dollar, we’ll likely see that number increase, which is the time we’ll see a real strain on the supply. Industrial use for silver SHOULD increase over the next decade, but you have to remember that use can drastically decrease in a true recession. Interesting times ahead. Buckle up! 😉

This is weird, I’ve never watched this channel before and it popped up. Current information suggests that central banks have been Piner both gold and silver over the last two years, and that there is extremely high percentage of silver derivatives. They cannot be covered with the existing amount of silver. Stackers once we buy it, we normally don’t sell it unless hardship happens. There will be an increase in supply as the economy goes down and people try and make ends meet. I’m seeing a lot more silver at auctions. Again, I would agree with him that you shouldn’t put all your money into silver, but up to 10% would be a decent store for your wealth.

The ruler by which you measure the value of silver, the dollar, is set to shrink. Shortage or not, silver price as measured by that ruler is set to rise. Timing of this process is still a bit uncertain.

Silver in 1970 was $1.77. Oil in 1970 was $1.21. Oil price today is $76. Silver today is $24. Silver needs to be over $75 today just to track oil. 1oz Silver should be roughly equal to 1 Barrel of oil. And 1 gram of Gold should be roughly equal to 1 Barrel of oil.

There no storage, if there was price will there just coin dealers trying to manipulate prices. Ampex one of the biggest dealer. I go eBay get fair prices or buy settlement bars if you can.

Look silver hit 50 USD per Oz in 1980. Today silver is 23 USD per OZ. Do you see the problem here. 40 years later silver is trading half of its all time high 40 years later. Inflation adjusted 50 USD is 165 USD. So in reality silver could easily hit over 100 USD any time.

This video is in response to a reddit group that is trying to short the silver market. It's like what the Hunt brothers did, but with a larger number of people. It's a Wall Street Bets, but for silver. Sometimes people post pictures of their silver. This could potentially cause a security risk if not using a V P N, so the members joke about how they 'lost' their silver in a boating accident.
