The big thing people need to remember about the Nets is their defense, especially with bigs. Who’s guarding AD, Embiid, Jokic, Bam, Giannis? There are dominant bigs almost no matter who they face throughout the playoffs. Its not like teams cant gameplan them
@hahahahaflyer3 жыл бұрын
Exactly nets are going to miss Allen a lot. I think bam with the heat cast would give them the most trouble between the guys in the east. Butler clutch as shit and will guard harden or kd every possession if he has too. Vic and dragic off the bench means they can match Brooklyn’s bench when they keep 1 star with it. Herro ducan both deadly. Lakers imo will beat them. Ad is too much for them, he’ll get the lakers into the bonus in the 4th quarter. People will complain about the refs cause all the nets players will be able to do is foul. Claxton,jordan,green,LA,Griffin and kd can’t and won’t be able to guard ad for 7 games. Only way they stop him is for him to get in foul trouble from the big 3 attacking him when they have the ball. Truth be told I’d be more shocked if they actually win. This ain’t the warriors people just caught up with big names
@coo1io7543 жыл бұрын
The nets have beaten the heat twice after the harden trade cuz them boys have no rebounding, and beaten all of those teams before or after the harden trade too. Their defense has improved a lot and focusing on the individual doesn’t work cuz kat was eating them up and lost, the rest of the other team simply can’t get it done.

The time machine challenge: This challenge will probably take a while so you might want to do it in several episodes or parts Here’s how it works You restart the league and take the current roster of the nba or you could do 40 ovrs and the next draft will be 1960 and the next will be 1965 (because they don’t have 61-64 in 2k) then 66,67,68 and continue You will be the Bulls (your favorite team) and your goal is to be the greatest franchise in NBA history

Everyone gives him shit all the time for no ring, but do they do it for AI? For Stockton or Malone? For Reggie Miller or Chris Webber? They don't. You can still watch and enjoy basketball w/o parity in the nba, we had some of the most entertaining playoff series battles during golden states dynasty run. However, I believe that parity makes the nba more exciting because a greater number of fanbases are engaged because they actually have a chance to win something. Ultimately, I can’t fault the players for doing what’s best for them but I wish that more small market teams had opportunities to compete at the level of Brooklyn or LA when it comes to signing those big name players.

Thanks for posting this! I'm pretty indifferent to parity since I enjoy basketball and the more concentrated the talent the higher quality of their play tends to be and I can just enjoy that. I was happy with the Raptors won (I'm from TO) but I was sad because they GSWs weren't at their best and players kept going down. I hate to see injuries because the fans miss out. I guess I'm saying, there are fans of teams or players or loyalty or whatever but I'm a fan of basketball so I like to see good play, good players, good sets, good coaching etc... I don't think parity changes how much or how little I enjoy the game. The skill level of basketball, I think, is at an all time high and that's fun to watch. I'd like a bit more given back to defense though. It's too easy to score in most cases but other than that, I really enjoy following NBA now more than ever.

As long as an opposition exists there will always be parity in the NBA, who actually thought Toronto would win in 2019 against the Warriors. Who actually thought Dirk would take the mavs to a championship in 2011. The bigger the wall the higher the opposition will jump, this is the most exited I’ve been about an NBA season.

I mean the Raptors couldn't go to the Finals before because Lebron was in the East and he owned them, they weren't a surprise at all, especially when the Warriors were injured. Having teams like the Nets or the Lakers just ruins the fun of the game, sure I may watch it but it's not exciting at all knowing that the Nets have 3 superstars that can demolish every team in the league.

NBA parity is a pipe dream that we all keep wanting to believe in despite reality. There's always only been one or a few giants at the top of the league that every other team and fan wants to see fall. They eventually do, and this transitory period is when you get your anomalous championships (the Rockets double in '94 and '95, the Pistons run in '04, and the Raptors in '19, etc). But after these brief moments of what people might call opague parity, there immediately comes along some other team to step into the shoes as the titan of the league. Historically, domination is the normative phase of the league.

Finally the truth about championships is told
@arkhamknight99913 жыл бұрын
I think there is decent parity but a huge issue that can’t be ignored is the opportunities for big market teams Vs small market teams. Small market teams have to work 100 times harder and need to get lucky just to compete. You can bet that every year, Boston, New York, LA, or Chicago are in the talks for championships and they always have an advantage over everyone else.
@METDRYXX3 жыл бұрын
I feel like the nets can win it all but there’s been multiple times we’re there’s “super team” like LBJ, Flash, Chris bosh make it all the way to the championship then lose to SA plus how it is now basketball can go either way for example who guessed the Denver nuggets to go to the conference finals to face off against LeBron and AD so it can just go either way

@zohaibsidi80423 жыл бұрын
You’re right Kenny people should enjoy player performances regardless of their resume. Also I don’t think you can blame anything but the system if parity doesn’t exist cuz the ultimate goal for every team and every player is supposed to be a chip, so they’re gonna do whatever they can to get it.

I'd need to see a lil more from him this season to call him underrated. The Heat, in general, were off to a VERY slow start... and Herro dropped from 39% last season to 31% this season from behind the arc. Yes he's averaging more points, but he has a larger role and has had more touches (especially with Jimmy missing time).
