How do you all have so much control over your FYP???? Because I'm telling you right now... I don't interact with, like or watch videos about smut books and yet that's all that comes onto my FYP because I like booktok. ROFLMAO. Teach me the ways. >.

Y'all never read your mom's harlequin romance novels in the bathroom, and it shows 😂😂 Half of our moms and grandmas out there were reading dirty romance novels, but we never heard them talk about it. There's less shame about women embracing their s3xuality, and the authors are rejoicing😂. People need to get off their high horses or take a ride on the smut train. Or we go down the rabbit hole of "How much crime is too much crime?" "How much suspense is too much suspense?" "How much bland love stories is too much?" The reality is that art is subjective, and not everyone's going to like it. All these parents need to check their kids' search and video histories on their cell phones before worrying about banning a book.

On to the topic... the things I don't like about erotic content or sex scenes in general is; 1. It feels voyeuristic and I'm not that interested in watching, listening or reading about other people having sex (it just feels violating to me). 2. The sex scenes never further the story. Ever. You can literally remove every sex scene and the story remains the same with VERY rare exception. Like, in Bridgerton - The Duke and I, the sex scene was needed for sure. I do not care if other people like sex scenes... no judgment. I just don't personally like them. And I get annoyed if I have to skip a ton of scenes. Like in ACOTAR, for example, after the first book I found myself having to skip entire chapters. Uuuuuugh. AGAIN, I do not judge ANYONE who enjoys that. I just don't so I find it annoying. LOL.
