Is This 2018 King Aire Perfect? "Newmar Thought of Everything"

As a follow up to the roof inspection video, I put together a fairly face paced but thorough walk-thru of this 2018 King Aire for sale at Premium Coach Group in Gilbert, AZ. This is a better bus than most buses.
Looks like they are asking $540k which is crazy savings, and has 37,000 miles.
I tried to find things wrong but found I was mostly to blame from incorrect operations.
Thanks for watching!

James your channel is awesome 👍 . One thing I think a lot of people would like to see is how these high quality builders do their outside sealing . For example the sides of the slide outs transitions to keep water out . I'm not explaining it very well, but I think you get my drift . As always good job

Phenomenal job as always James. I know I've mentioned my preferences to you before, but if you're a Mark Martin, or otherwise in that income bracket, I think Newmars are a great choice (especially when you can upgrade every few years before those complex systems start failing left and right and you're out of warranty). For the mere mortals like me, there's just way too much to go wrong on those over the long haul. I'll stick with my dream rig - a Prevost XL. No slides, manual pocket doors (if possible), the venerable Detroit 60 series engine. Gleaming polished stainless steel sides that are timeless, no' paint scheme of the day', indestructible heavy-duty (and beautiful) bay door handles with doors that open up high (no slides, so no ducking underneath them to access a bay). An interior that can be remodeled as your checkbook and tastes allow. Of course, the best part? A "million mile chassis"! Runner up - MCI

One of the best walkthrough of a coach, you do a awesome job showing off all features and great details on how things work. You do a much better job then the person you mentioned. I sell real estate and have been on countless home inspection, you did a great job in explaining to a future owner what they maybe buying. From my past experiences the knowledge the inspector demonstrates on explaining a unknown product is the most valuable part of the transaction. Job well done, if we buy in the AZ area I would hire you to inspect before ever buying. You have a NEW fan.

Personally I liked your tour and review! As a trained lighting designer, I wish the manufacturers would stop using blue LED’s! Blue light is the most powerful color(higher frequency). Being constantly exposed to blue light can damage your eyes. Some have said that over time and enough exposure can cause blindness. Do a internet search. The problem here is that since you are inside, it is darker and your eyes open wider allowing the light to enter more. There used to be blue blocker glasses. Now they are called amber colored glasses. Respectfully, Kevin

I must admit I really like the King Aires. However James, if you had enough money for a 2918 King Aire, would you get one or recommend one for someone else to buy or, recommend to use the money on something else. For instance a Cornerstone roused Prevost etc...?
@AZExpert
@AZExpert 3 жыл бұрын
Whew! That's a big question. I would not consider a Cornerstone/Entegra on par with Newmar or Tiffin highlines. Prevost are great for traveling and impressing but not living as far as I am concerned. I am leery of any coach with top of the line electronics and gadgets also. If you are living or using the RV for 4 or more months then it makes sense, otherwise I think you'll find all inclusive resorts a better value.

Very nice walk thru....but this coach is not nearly as "perfect" as the Eagle bus done a while back. If I spent that amount of money on a new coach....3 years later it would still be "perfect" roof to chassis. Fastest way that I evaluate a coach....look at the roof, battery bay, engine and generator bay. They will tell a lot how the coach was maintained....but that's just me and my "OCD" 😆

@@AZExpert The question was “I noticed the tag wheels match the front wheels and not the back drive wheels. What is the reason for that and could you change out the tag wheels to match the drive wheels, specifically on a Country Coach RV. I will retire within a couple years and looking for tag axle Country Coach. Thanks.

you have a good eye. I remember the rears matching and the fronts being the odd ones out. I'd have to check my notes on the date codes. Generally, tires are crazy expensive so it's not uncommon to only change the bad sets and rotate as these wouldn't be old enough to change all at once.

@@AZExpert I think you misunderstood my question or I worded it wrong. I am not asking about the tires. I am asking about the wheels or maybe I should say the rims. Some RVs have rims on the tag axle that do not match the drive axle rims. I hate that look and didn’t know the reason for that and if it would be possible to change the the tag axle rims to match the drive axle rims. The Country Coach RV that I am most interested in is the Intrigue (2004, 05, 06) and those models have matching tag and drive axle rims.

Country Coach made their own chassis and placed the tag in line to match the drive wheels. The king Aire has a steering tag axle.

you are 300 times better the Steele. All he cares about is the 'eye candy'; such as paint scheme, interior colors, etc., nothing about the functionality of the RV. Also, always commenting to what he likes; Nothing about roof, engine, batteries, and the like. I watched five videos and will not subscribe to that ignoramus' channel. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK......

I think, for my taste you did a good job. But....if you have a lot to do, why make a video? Don't make a video if you "have a lot to do." When you have more time then...make the video.
