That's intentional. It's done so that hookshot cannot be interrupted by most spells while being cast and takes priority, so Clockwerk's position isn't confused.

Stuff like that is hard to classify as specifically a bug or a feature. It could be a compromise in code or just an unintentional quirk of the properties of the game. Think of wavedashing in melee. It's not a bug, but it wasn't intentional necessarily

@@loganmyall660 It is a feature, this was also done for many spells that do force movement like Pudge's Meat Hook. It takes priority over other spells otherwise you'd get way too many bugs if forced movement spells had the same priority. In this case, Hookshot takes priority over x Marks the Spot therefore the spell was ignored.

@@loganmyall660 Perry is right, this is an order or precedence so the hookshot is priority in some spells interactions, this avoids clockwork being on disadvantage as his skill are supposed to close the gap between him and the enemy.

@@xunjin8897 he's ignoring my point. You can intentionally leave in something that is an unintended outcome because of the consequences of greater issues. That doesn't mean icefrog thought that this was specifically how this would play out. Unless it says in the tooltip that it takes precedence over other mobility spells etc, you can't say it's directly a feature. Is wavedashing a feature because the developers thought it would never be found?

@@loganmyall660 Wavedashing was an oversight in the mechanics of another feature, airdodging, and teeters more on unintended behavior than bug or feature. On the other hand, the mechanics of Clock's ult are deliberately designed the way they are, making this interaction intended. If he was able to be force staffed or stunned out of his ult, it wouldn't be very good, hence why this feature exists in the first place. Due to this deliberate feature, you can defensively use Clock ult in this fashion to avoid forced movement/relocation/stuns, as opposed to the offensive usage we're probably all used to seeing.
